A Bring Out the GIMP (Girls in Merciless Peril) Movie Review

Bitter Sweet Persuasion

Reviewed by Iago

I watched Bittersweet Persuasion tonight. No full review, but a few observations:

I like the brighter lighting in this film. It shows the girls off better, and also lets us see more of what is going on. In some vids I find that dark light plus dark whip=hard-to-see-action. Speaking of whips...

I'm not a huge whipping fan myself. The whipping scenes in this movie went a long time. Great fun for you whipping fans out there.

Suzi was cute, and Kimberly was, as always, absolutely killer. I also liked her acting. That moment where she realizes she's about to get gagged and pleads with the villain, saying she won't say anything...yep, with that gag in she didn't say anything. Funny.

The retail shop left me a little empty, like the shop itself. If only one person was working the floor (like Suzi apparently was) you wouldn't leave it to go upstairs and hang out in the office. I also got the odd feeling that the backroom of the lingerie store was like ten times the size of the commercial part, which seemed really odd to me, especially since it was all empty halls and office, not storage space. When Kim finally arrived she didn't even seem to notice that the shop was deserted, the till unattended, etc. Odd.

I liked the difference in garb for the ladies. The manager type in her more slinky clothes with the lace bra showing through her top made sense. Kim in jeans as the regular employee also made sense. If I read it wrong and she was a customer it still made sense.

The rape scenes seemed kinda flat to me. Not much action there. Personally, I would have thought the guy would nail Suzi while she was strapped to that ab-roller-looking metal frame. Booyah.

My overall take on the movie would be a B. It has good lighting, sets and girls. The main villain does a good job. His henchman gets by. Some of the situations don't quite work for me but there is a lot more "background noise," meaning fine detail, than I am used to with ZFX and I liked it. A worthwhile watch for ZFX fans.

My Grade: B
