Wheel of Pain 20 Review
This film was the one where the Wheel of Pain itself was first heavily redesigned and simplified; the new host is also present. Lyen Parker is the submissive. Her presence here came after her excellent performance in Martial Law 3.
The rounds:
(1) 25 on thighs. Before the round began, she was skeptical of how painful thigh whipping would be; she is soon disabused of that misconception.
(2) 20 on pussy. Perhaps the most dull round.
(3) 25 on breasts. Some truly outstanding tears from Lyen In this round.
(4) 10 on soles, Lyen was in such severe pain after this round that she didn’t want to continue, luckily the dear host convinced her to go on.
(5) 50 full body this round was the best, it was where Lyen begs Ariel not to hit her soles…..and is of course denied. Even though she got most of the strokes on other body parts, one can really get a sense of and observe the devastating impact the previous round had on Lyen as she pleads not to be struck on this most painful area again.
Final Note:
This film proved that (in spite of its 19 awful predecessors) that when you have the right director (Pedro), you can make any franchise worth watching again. Max Lomp was a terrible host, unprofessional, and boring, with a style that screamed amateurism. Victims in his Wop films were sometimes not even tied up or restrained in any way, which immediately took the fun out of it. Especially aggravating was the fact that he often used 2 or more submissive in the same film (If one girl quit too early), much simpler to stay with one submissive. The new host is short and to the point, the very epitome of professionalism and the lighting for most of the WoP’s since then has been far more conducive to the overall severity of the film.
The WoP episode is not incredibly exciting but neither is it very dull. It does seem that both Lyen and Ariel were "subdued" beforehand. Ariel does not seem as sadistic as she could have been and Lyen seemed more disinterested and eager to get it over with, neither of the girls put their "A" game into this film and it suffered a little in that regard. It seemed like both these ladies could have used a little pep talk before this film. Luckily for us, such disinterest has not reoccurred in the 10 WoP films released since this one.
As mentioned before the 5th round was definitely the most entertaining in terms of sadism. Ariel strikes Lyen-on-her-previously-beaten-and-still-sore-feet ...twice and cruelly mocks and humiliates Lyen by ignoring her pleas for mercy. Our dear blonde was a shark in the water who smelled blood in this round and went straight for the killer…even though she didn’t break Lyen. Some truly Savage marks on Lyen’s back as a result of the clinic Ariel put on her.
A good Wheel of Pain episode, where virtually every body part of Lyens' was struck. Nothing really that wrong with it, simply just not as good as it could have been if both ladies had been willing to put their 110% into it. There is nothing much to recommend about this film other than round 5. Ultimately, if you enjoy the usual pairing of Lyen and Ariel, WoP: Special Rules is the better film for you to buy.
