PKF Studio's Tortured Soldier opens with a female soldier (played by Ginger) who is thrown into a dank, dirty prison cell. She's wearing her combat fatigues, her hands are tied in front and she is gagged with a cleave gag. Ginger is a pretty woman, but as a soldier she must be pretty clueless since she can't figure out how to remove her own gag, which would be pretty easy since all she'd have to do is reach up and pull it out of her mouth. Not that hard when your hands are right there in front of you. But no, all she can do is whine, scream as loudly as she can and shake her hands in frustration. Oh mercy me, my hands are tied in front of me, I'm totally helpless now. It's amazing she made it through basic training.
Then a man comes in. He's played by the ubiquitous Max Coxxx, PKF's resident villain for hire. Max shoves her against a wall, rips off her dog tags and tells her the rest of her platoon has abandoned her and that she'll stay here until she gives up information. He takes a chain that's attached to the wall and ties it around her neck. Then he unties her hands and leaves her alone. Ginger's reaction is to sit down against the wall, squeal loudly, pound her hands and stomp her feet like a child throwing a temper tantrum. It still takes her a good minute before she takes her gag off, though. She finally simmers down and starts lightly weeping, acting defeated.
 
Sometime later, Max comes back and starts to peel off her clothing. But he gets called away and leaves her alone again. Perhaps in anticipation of what's going to happen to her, Ginger crawls over the toilet and throws up.
When he returns, the first thing Max does is make her suck his cock. She doesn't like it, but she takes it in her mouth between sobs. After a minute of face-fucking, he yanks down her pants and goes to work on her pussy. Ginger does a decent job of emoting while being raped. It's a fairly short scene, simulated with no cum shot. When he finishes with her, he strips off the rest of her uniform and takes it with him, telling her, "You're no longer a soldier." Ginger is left crying to herself, now wearing only a T-shirt and naked from the waist down except for her socks.
 
But that was just a warm up. Max returns for Round 2. He grabs Ginger and rapes her again (simulated), this time pounding her from behind. No doubt about it, Ginger is definitely a screamer. She needed to be gagged big time. Once again, the scene only lasts a couple of minutes and Max grabs her by the hair and leads her out of the cell.
 
When we see her next, Ginger is chained in a standing spread-eagle, gagged once more and straddling a small bowl directly below her pussy. She looks great; it's the first time she's actually been effectively tied up in the movie. Max returns and tells her the rest of her platoon is dead and he's going to burn her to death, just for his sick, sadistic pleasure. He strikes a match and drops it into the bowl between her legs.
 
And what should have been the best scene in the movie turns into its biggest letdown. The animated flame between her legs looks exactly like...an animated flame. It never changes or fluctuates like real fire, but constantly looks the same, flickering to the same height continuously. An early test clip that was released before the movie came out showed an impressive smoke effect which would have given the scene a bit more realism, but was nixed, apparently for that very same reason. The scene is also marred by the fact that Ginger doesn't sway her hips frantically to get out of the way of the fire, further giving away the fact that what we're watching is a special effect, one that unfortunately doesn't look very special.
Ginger, for her part, screams her pretty head off and sells it as well as she can. But I stopped believing the burning fantasy almost from the start. It's kind of depressing watching a highly anticipated scene continue on and on, minute after minute, and you realize none of this is working.
 
By the time the fire suddenly stops burning, Ginger's lower anatomy is stained an ugly shade of red, with simulated burns that look like they were painted on with a heavy brush. She's still not dead, but she looks a lot less appealing with all that red on her, also bleeding from the wrists and face. Max returns again to blow her away with a single gunshot to the head (an impressive illusion, if you're into that) and the last few minutes are spent lingering over Ginger's dead body. At least it had a happy ending.
I didn't think much worked in this movie. The bondage was weak or non-existent in the first half and the female lead overacted badly in the first few scenes, making as much noise then as she made at the end while being burned alive. If you're watching it for the rapes, you might enjoy those parts, although they are both relatively brief. And the much anticipated pussy roasting sequence, while a very difficult illusion to pull off, turns into a major fail. I really appreciated the attempt; maybe next time they'll succeed in the execution. The best way to improve is to learn to fix what didn't work right the first time.
