PainToy’s site (http://paintoy.com/) has been around for over a decade, though not always with that name. Alebeard and Dru (and Ale’s wife Emma) are fixtures in the S&M scene in Portland, which has over the years provided them with a steady flow of young women (spoiler alert: many with tats and piercings) to make videos and photo sets with them. Gotta love the Pacific Northwest for hot liberal chicklets.

For many of the earlier years their material was a bit tame for my tastes, and the occasional spectacular models they featured were, well, occasional. Certainly among their pieces have been some fine ones for fans of whipping and other basic kinks, but theirs was a site I would tend to join once a year to scavenge anything good rather than, say, quarterly. Still only $24.95 for a month.

Starting several years ago when Paingate/Whipped Women began actually marking their models and providing a generally high quality of women and production values--and even more so when ElitePain blew the limits out of the whipping video, PainToy began to step up a little more often and has produced some decent pieces. They still struggle to keep Alebeard aware of where the camera is, so he tends to stand between it and the victim and whale away for a while—though not quite so often. Lighting and sound are basic but good. There’s rarely a story-line, and though Ale and Dru aren't as wooden as Machine and Striker from PG/WW, they are very predictable.

I suspect that some of the charm of PT for those who like it is exactly in the fact that here is this pair of chubby nerds with bad hair and no apparent talents, getting to tie up and torture a regular stream of naked women, and they're not in jail, and I guess they're making some money at it. They're the guys-next-door to de Sade who give hope to the rest of us (even if only in our fantasies). And hell, one of them at least is married, and his wife runs the camera!!

In mid-February PT released a video called Not both of them! I can't take it!, which may be their best ever. The video is only 7 minutes long, but you're into the whipping within 45 seconds, and there aren't many breaks from then on.

Winnie is nude standing between the boys in somebody’s unfinished rec room as they fumble around trying to figure out how to put on cuffs and attach them to ropes. You can see amusement in Winnie’s face as she waits patiently and even offers her arm to be attached. There’s no question what happens will be consensual, just as in the Elite Pain “stories”—something that I know bothers some on the forum. For me, it’s what happens when the action is taking place that matters. And what happens here, like many of the best Elite Pain videos, is very real. The rest you can cut out.

The bondage makes you feel like you may haves tumbled into a Laurel and Hardy send up of BDSM Masters. Rope attached to her cuffs runs up through two large rings with a ratchet that holds it at a level they choose with the remainder of the rope hanging down. Before ever the whipping starts, it’s clear that those ropes hanging down on either side of Winnie are going to be a problem for the whippers. And they are. One or another of the boys is constantly getting his whip tangled with a rope, standing around holding the rope and wondering what to do with it (Whip her with it!), winding the rope around a hand to keep it out of the way, etc. They change sides once, with Dru taking his rope with him and Ale leaving his beyond so Dru has to figure out how to hold two of them and still whip. And so on.

One of my greatest criticisms of PainToy is: Nobody’s paying attention to such simple details beyond getting the basic lighting okay and the camera in focus, but any editing has to be done by the buyer. Maybe that’s why they're the ones curling a lash around Winnie and I'm writing a book report about it.

To the action: Winnie is a beautiful young woman with a body that’s flat-out zaftig. firm heavy breasts which are a dream when she’s pulled AOH in a Y. Her face is very expressive. No tats or piercings (sadly, no bush). Truly a girl next door.

One of the greatest irritants to me in PT vids is that they seem to have to cover the same ground in each video: a little single-tail, a little flogger, crop, cane, paddle. Butt, back, then turn her around and do the front, then on the knees, etc. A little something for all tastes.

Winnie doesn't have to deal with that. She just gets whipped front and back, both at the same time, with a couple snake whips. Things start slowly as the boys try to figure out the ropes, but the action picks up to the point where Winnie is crying and they stop to comfort her.

They ask her to beg for mercy, but she won't, and so the whipping continues until she’s clearly finished.

Winnie never overplays the reactions, but she is also not stoic like some of the ElitePain women. She dances and jumps beautifully and her fine light skin marks attractively. She screams, squeaks, groans and sings her pain. Finally she cries. A terrific victim. Her body at the end is a work of art.

One thing that has improved over the years is the meanness of the boys. There’s a sequence about 2/3 of the way through, where in past years they would have stopped and checked in with the model. This time they keep going even though she’s clearly suffering. At one point she is standing with her head hanging down and Ale takes a great crack across those breasts “made to be whipped”. No mercy.

There’s a great mini-scene near the end where they have her spread her legs and keep up a constant series of strokes to her pussy which gets her rocking back and forth.

The camera work here avoids the frustrating close up of one part or another (usually while another part is being whipped, no slow pans of the welts. You see all of Winnie pretty much all the time. The few times the thought entered my head, “zoom out”, the camera was already doing it.

For the three most important things for me: the victim, the action and the visibility of what’s happening, Not both of them! I can't take it! definitely gets an A—a fairly short A, since there is only about 4 minutes of quality video—but getting all three of my keys in anything is worthwhile for however long it’s available. I could mark down for the amateurish production glitches, but those I can fix on my copy for my taste. It can fix bad camera work or poor lighting or an unattractive unresponsive model or an ADHD story-line, and those are not here!
