A Bring Out the GIMP (Girls in Merciless Peril) Movie Review


The New Queen

Whoever commissioned Titaneia Customs/Amazon-Warriors.com to do a custom video based on what this script became is a genius. I didn't know I was into Arms-Over-Head ("AOH") and belly punching until The New Queen was brought to my attention. Released in four parts of approximately 10 minutes each, the first part is composed of the character introductions and background to the storyline, the second part is composed of AOH bondage and belly-punching, the third part is composed of belly-rubbing, pressing, and kneading with hands and feet, and the fourth part features the captive queen stretched arms wide apart, tormented with an Okinawan sai, and executed in a mix of special FX and computer graphics. Since I wasn't particularly interested in the background (a training session between the reigning queen "Talanis" and her slave "Ruslana", wherein Ruslana punches Talanis in her belly to make it tougher, leading to Ruslana capturing Talanis and setting the stage for Part Two), I only watched three of the four parts of the story.

Part Two opens with Talanis stripped and stretched taut, her wrists bound overhead with rope that disappears into the darkness of the room. The camera lingers over her velvet skin, allowing us to appreciate her finely honed torso as her skin is drawn tight against her body. She has a beautiful frame and abs to die for – literally – so she's the perfect choice for the victim in this film. Of the models that Titaneia has used, she's been consistently one of my favorites and I'm glad to see she gets so much camera time in this series.

Ruslana enters the chamber and, after some taunts, goes to work pounding on Talanis' belly like it's her own personal punching bag. The sound effects here are very good, and Ruslana has the musculature of an MMA female prize fighter that really sells her role. It all plays out very believably. However, it's not perfect. One thing I did notice is that early in the punching session, as Talanis doubles over in pain, she lowers her hands into the camera frame and shows us that her hands weren't even tied for that sequence. For kicks, I edited that part out of my version of the film and the whole scene plays much better. I'm surprised that Mr. Olaf Winter, the producer, didn't catch that flub and correct it the same way I did. While I'm mentioning flubs, in a few close-ups, it's easy to see the skin-tone G-string that Talanis is wearing under her leather loincloth. Obviously she's wearing underwear to prevent an accidental X-rating due to wardrobe malfunction as the leather slides during her beating, and the G-string still shows a very revealing bit of her body, so I'm willing to let that slip (see what I did there?).

In between punching sessions, Ruslana taunts the captive queen, her words (and the camera) highlighting Talanis' belly. There is some very good dialogue here, and it certainly enhances the emotional experience of this film. I'm convinced that everything sounds evil when spoken in German. Is it even possible to say "Good morning" in German without sounding like a plan to invade the rest of Europe? It definitely adds to the ambiance of evil.

After beating her captive with her fists, Ruslana decides it's time to up the stakes with… a wooden stake! Except, instead of sticking her with the pointy end ("Game of Thrones" fans just laughed), Ruslana uses the blunt end and maintains constant pressure against Talanis' tenderized tummy. I've never heard of this as a torture, but I would imagine it'd be very uncomfortable, particularly after the organs underneath have been tenderized. It's very erotic, even if you didn't think you were into this sort of thing.

Part Three picks up where Part Two left off, with Ruslana carrying the unconscious Talanis into an adjoining chamber. Talanis is placed on a fur rug and her arms are stretched out over her head. She isn't bound, but that doesn't really detract from this scene because she's so gorgeous.

What we're treated to now is about 8 minutes of Ruslana having her way with an unconscious mostly-naked woman. What would you do? Well, if you're into rubbing, pressing, and kneading a strong, tender belly, you'd do exactly what Ruslana does, and even if you aren't, you'll still find this part extremely erotic. There were several times when I thought her hand was going to slide under Talanis' loin cloth and tickle, rub, and knead another very sensitive part of the captive woman's body. It's that hot of a scene. I'm thinking that there's some footage that was cut out in order to avoid the film being banned as pornography (which, if you're into this sort of thing, it kind of is).

After rubbing and beating her victim on the floor, Ruslana hauls Talanis up onto the bed, where she stretches the helpless woman out - arms dangling, legs spread wide - and begins to beat on her some more.

Ruslana forces the captive queen to abdicate and accept Ruslana as the new queen before being beaten back into unconsciousness.

Part Four opens with an unconscious Talanis chained to a wall, arms wide apart. Ruslana tickles her nipple with an Okinawan 3-pointed sai, rousing Talanis from her merciful slumber. Now it's time for Ruslana to get her final gratification; to subject Talanis to one last lingering round of torture until she dies.

And then things get bloody, as most Amazon Warriors films tend to do.

I will say this for Olaf Winter – he has managed to find the right niche of product for a very discerning taste. His production studio is top notch and his photography is by a very well-trained eye. The wardrobe and costuming are done in a RennFair sort of way, and captures the Fantasy Roleplay spirit of the thing nicely. And, of course, he's collected a very beautiful stable of performers; always critical for this sort of film. Talanis is the perfect choice as a victim of a belly-punching film, and Ruslana is very good at delivering believable punches. It makes the effort of jumping through hoops to get access to the site, and then purchasing through a credits-based system, worth the trouble.

I can't award this miniseries an "A" due to the photography flubs early in Part 2, and the exposed G-string straps, but it is a very strong "B" based on the acting of the models, the eroticism of Parts 2 and 3, and the excellent photography. If you don't mind having to provide photographic proof that you're an adult, this film is one you'll want to pick up. If you're an AOH and belly-punching fan, you'll definitely need this in your library.
