It's been a good week so another movie review if I may. The Ransomed Wife starring our friend Natasha Flade as the wife, Chico Lafons as the husband, Lydia Lyles as female abductor and Ian Crisis as male abductor. Extras include a very nice still photo gallery and :45 seconds of outtakes. I obtained my copy through Video Mayhem.
The film begins with Natasha coming down the stairs of her home. She calls her husband and tells him she's enroute to Australia on business. Enter the abductors, a male with shaved head and a chick who has a gothic Wynona Ryder thing going on. Natasha is overpowered and they bind her ankles, legs, arms and wrists behind her. A cloth is inserted in her mouth and held in place with a cleave gag. They tell her they're going to get some of her clothes for wardrobe changes during her captivity. Apparently, Natasha is not grateful she is being abducted by such fashionistas and begins to writhe and moan on the floor. When they return she is picked up and carried away.
She is now chair tied in a garage with her wrists behind, cords around upper arms and passing below the breasts, ankles are roped to the front legs of the chair. Her mouth is packed with cloth and cleave gagged. She is wearing a short red dress and white open toed shoes. She is launched into distress mode.
The male abductor calls her husband and tells him to pony up 1 million or else. The husband doesn't believe it thinking his wife to be in Australia. Cut to Natasha still in the garage now wearing orange mottled bra and panties. Gagged with an OTM ace bandage, she is in a semi strappado pose, wrists behind and arms slightly raised by a cord and pulley. Her ankles and legs are tied and she is barefoot on the floor. The room darkens and she is left there and we see the abductors have been watching her on a monitor.
Next day she has been given another wardrobe change into red top, blue jeans and tennis shoes. She is blindfolded, wrists tied behind and not gagged. The abductors take her to the basement where the female unties her, removes the blindfold and orders her to strip. Once naked, the male puts her face down on the floor and hogties her. While the female films, Natasha reads a script begging her husband to help. When finished she is cleave gagged and left there to squirm in a lengthy scene.
The next scene has Natasha naked on a mattress still in the basement, arms extended over her head and secured to a pipe. Her ankles are tied to the mattress lift on each side and she has mouth packing and a cleave gag. The female begins some fondling, licking, toe sucking and general overall abuse. Natasha goes into some serious muffled protests. The male returns and gets ticked at these goings on.
For the next scene he has chair tied the female abductor, wrists behind, cord around waist and chair and ankles tied to chair back. She is gagged with mailing tape. Natasha is a few feet away. Her wrists are bound to a cabinet post, ankles and legs bound and packing tape gagged as she sits on the floor. Both are naked.
The male place a call to the husband and we find they are in cahoots. The husband says they will split the life insurance policy on his wife once she's disposed of. The male says he has taken care of the other female but we don't know how.
In the final scene Natasha has been taken into the woods. She is naked and her wrists have been bound to a horizontal limb, her legs and ankles are tied and she has a duct tape gag. She is slightly stretched lifting her heels up. After some struggling a freeze frame and fade to sometime later as she goes limp, indicating she has perished from exposure to the elements. The End
Movie Pluses - I found the picture quality quite good - Natasha certainly knows to use the vivid colors that accent her best assets. The sound was also quite good and consistent throughout. There was a nice variety of poses and for the most part the scenes were not overly protracted. Natasha has very expressive eyes which translate well into damsel in distress scenarios.
Movie Minuses - If I could change one thing, I would offer this suggestion - as so often happens in productions of this type, the distressed moans and hhhmmmffs sound monotonal, like listening to the tick-tock-tick-tock of a timepiece, almost mechanical if you will. Fewer and more spontaneous and with a little passion would have worked better here. Also, in the words of our host Ralphus "never send a woman to do a man's job" - the only real torment is dished out by Lydia - at least let him get his share!
Verdict - you will find no lashings, no torture of any kind here - just straightforward, simple elegant bondage - to me it was well worth the price of admission and I will be visiting Natasha again.
