History of Pain: Inquisition Review
This film documented various torture techniques utilized by the inquisitions in the Medieval era. The victims were subject to the rack, branding, whipping and caning as well as pussy and needle-piercing. Some girls were subject to only one torture, others to several.
The first torture sequence begins with its victim screaming as she is stretched out on the rack. The beauty of this implement was that it was a long & slowly-drawn out process. The inquisitors did not have to rush, by cranking the wheel, turn after turn, they could slowly destroy the victim's joints by stretching them out until they permanently dislocated. Also, the victim could be held rather indefinitely in the position, allowing the inquisitor to experiment with other ways of increasing the victim's agony.
Afterwards she is forced to ingest a great volume of water.
Next, Roxanne has her turn as she is tied up facing the ceiling and her belly and thighs are flogged.
Naturally, her will doesn't last very long against this kind of stress.
Her final punishment was to be branded. Even after she had confessed, they still were not through with her.
And at last, we come to the crème-de-la-crème. After witnessing several different torments, the best scene was saved for last. Julsci was subject to an absolutely inhumane flogging and caning, and like Roxanne, she too was branded!
She repeatedly begged for mercy through her gag but was totally ignored. The inquisitors, after all, we're professionals and a proper professional not only does top-notch work but also never gives up until the job is finished.
Indeed, they do such a good job that at last, she can take no more and faints. But alas, her tormentor's cruelty knew no bounds. Instead of being allowed the mercy of a respite, she is soon awakened and her ordeal continues.
She is soon bent over for a vicious ass-whipping. This woman was a long-time dominatrix for EP, but fuck, she was outstanding as a submissive here. Altogether her scene was one of the absolute finest in this company's history. And the very best part knowing that this punishment at least was real, the whippings and caning and the marks they left were 100% legit, which made savoring her reactions all the more delightful!
An excellent film, particularly for this genre, one of the most realistic and intense films EP has ever made. In virtually every other film of theirs I have reviewed, there has been at least one thing to criticize, but this film was picture-perfect and flawless. Especially when you consider the scenery used for the film: dark, foreboding and intense, totally spot-on. The sets used for this film were highly realistic-looking from a historical point of view. The CGI was incredible for its realistic look and feel, powerful hot-branding iron scenes and breast-piercing. Pedro, Lomp & Co really put on their A-game(s) here!
A key element of this film was fear. The palpable terror in each of the victims was very tangible. Made all the more enjoyable by the terrific performances put on by the various victims. It is obvious that yes, when locked in a dark dungeon, and listening to other girls screams that one would be terrified as they knew their turn was soon to come. But these girls, especially Julsci and Roxanne, were very believable whether their torture was real (whipping/caning) or CGI (everything else). The girls were dirty and grimy, their physical well-being totally disregarded by their captors. Before their own torture was initiated, they were chained to the wall and made to watch the other girl be tortured. Thus, we received the privilege of watching the raw agony and horror on their faces, before they even felt the kiss of the whip or the heat of the branding iron.
The atmosphere of this film was similar to that of Martial Law 3; both films were filled with dark and soul-crushing despair. Just like Lt. Bernardelli, The victims here were (presumably) innocent of whatever crimes they were suspected of… but their captors knew this and didn't give a damn! These women were completely at the mercy of their tormentors. There was no hope for any of these girls; their lives, their bodies, and their souls were irrelevant. All their interrogators wanted was a confession and they used any means they could to obtain them. And even after they confessed, they would have been garroted or burned at the stake. Truly, once they became a prisoner of the inquisition, their fate was sealed. Also exhilarating about this film was how its victims were objectified so as to become mere objects, not even human, just bodies that bled and cracked and throats that made high-pitched and hoarse screams. While this happens in any and every BDSM film to some extent, after all, that is the point, to reduce them to objects for the buyer's pleasure; this film did such a bang-up job of it. And unlike even ML3, there was no human element in it, no scenes of inquisitors verbally interrogating their victims, instead, it was all torture and suffering & then demanding confessions.
After the film is over, we are treated to two interviews, Julsci (Giulietta) and then Roxanne. The latter was relatively calm, although very shook up by what she had just been through. Juslci on the other hand……you'll have to watch it to find out, but it is delicious to observe.
