Scar trailer

Aunt Joan (played by Angela Bettis) is in town for her niece’s graduation (played by Kirby Bliss Blanton). Joan is familiar with the town as it’s the same one she grew up in. The same town in which a madman tortured her, scaring her face, and tortured and killed her best friend years ago as a teen. After a while Joan begins to get flashbacks of her ordeal as a teenager. Then at a school pep rally a girl turns ups dead in the lake. Has the madman returned?

Gimp wise Scar starts off with scenes of Joan and her best friend as teenagers. One night the two girls decide to check out the funeral home with the good-looking funeral director. Peering through the window of the funeral home Joan accidentally hurts herself and is discovered by the director who brings them in to perform a little first-aid to the injured girl. Once in the house he asks one of the girls to help him gather the first-aid supplies. He later returns alone and chloroforms the injured Joan. Later after she comes to she finds herself and her friend strapped to tables. The funeral director now begins his torture of both girls (scalpel cuts, staple gun, removal of teeth, cutting of tongues, etc.) explaining that either girl can end the torment and be freed at anytime by telling him to kill her friend. Both girls endure loads of torture as each is unwilling to tell him to end it. Finally Joan gives in after a few cuts to the face, telling him to kill her best friend.

The next segment is in the present as Joan, Joan’s niece, and her best friend have been captured. The tortures are aimed mainly at the niece and her friend but Joan still gets the business end of an electric cattle prod a time or two.

The niece and her best friend are tortured similarly to how Joan and her best friend were years before. After a while the friend has superglue poured over her face then has a rubber glove pressed to her face, suffocating her to death.

Entertainment wise, fair effort I guess. Nothing real special as far as story goes. Grade C

Gimp wise, no nudity in any of the bondage/torture segments but the segments are very long in length (possibly 20+ minutes cumulatively). Joan and her friend endure scalpel cuts, alcohol poured into the wounds, staple gun, etc. before Joan ends it by telling the funeral director to kill her friend.

Similar events with the present day occurrences as both past and present get a little bloody. The good part in both segments is that Joan as a teenager, and Joan’s niece are kept relatively clean (not as bloodied as their friends) so you can still enjoy their reactions to the torment.

Five victims (including Joan and Joan as a teen), lengthy on-screen times, plus good reactions to the torment get this one a C+
