The Klansman (1974) is a star-studded turkey that nonetheless included a great rape scene featuring hot Lola Falana and Cameron Mitchell. In the VoD version that I saw, the rape was censored out completely, but I have a low-quality, Spanish-dubbed clip of the scene itself, which runs about 1:45 and occurs about mid-way through.
Lola Falana plays a civil rights activist who arrives in a small town that is virtually run by the Klan. She is clad in a midriff-baring blouse that ties in front (I love those) and a short blue skirt. Mitchell is the deputy sheriff and not-so-secret Klan member. Mitchell and four of his cronies invade Falana’s house at night, arrest her and they all get into a pick-up truck and drive her downtown for ‘questioning’. Instead they disembark in a dark alley where Mitchell slugs Falana with a right cross sending her falling backwards to the ground.
He immediately straddles her and begins ripping her blouse open. Falana is kicking, screaming and flailing away with her arms as the other men stand around watching. Mitchell tugs forcefully at the waist of the skirt and her back arches way up off the ground from the force (this is no cheap, tear-away skirt). As he lunges for her panties, she starts crawling away from him on all fours. He crawls behind her, grabs her panties and rips them off, exposing one fine butt. He turns her over and crawls between her legs, but she keeps going at him with her arms. So two of the cronies hold her arms down while Mitchell makes humping motions. When it’s over, she lies on the ground sobbing, clutching the remnants of her blouse around her and curled up with her legs and butt exposed. The cronies get in the truck and take off, but Mitchell remains for one last shot. About ten feet away, he bends down slightly, his hands on his knees, and says something to here, that, not knowing Spanish I can't explain, but it has the tone of either taunting or warning or both.
Wow. I'm not a rape aficionado, but this is the best rape scene I ever seen. Lots of meanness, kicking, screaming, clothes-ripping – a fine, energy-expending effort from Falana. She is not what you would call well-endowed, but she was a dancer as well as a singer/actress, and it shows. She’s in great shape, terrific legs, a butt that would be the envy of an aerobics instructor, and she delivers a very physical, intense performance, challenging Mitchell to do the same. This would be a very good addition to anyone’s rape scene compilation.
But there’s the rub. Finding an uncensored version may require going back to the original VHS. This movie appears in a variety of releases, including two-fers and three-fers. The link below may provide some guidance. Lovely Linda Evans is also raped in this film, but my VoD version showed next to nothing of it, so I can't be of any assistance there. The movie itself is dated and clunky, but I think this rape scene alone makes it worth the hunt.
