The story: Countess Bathory (Anna Friel) is married to a heroic warrior, has a relationship with famed Italian artist Caravaggio, is widowed and desired by another nobleman, Thurzo, who, when he is spurned by her, mounts a campaign to discredit the Countess Bathory, who remains attractive even as she ages (hence the slander that she bathes in virgins' blood to retain her beauty), and succeeds until she takes her own life (by fire). It is an opulent, big-budget movie, produced in Czechoslovakia, with great costumes, impressive location shots, and compelling dialog. Not a bad movie, but it is 2 hours and 16 minutes long, and the GIMP bits are brief and scattered throughout.

The flashes of GIMP are as follow:

10:15 - Countess Bathory is bent over the side of her own bed and brutally raped (possibly sodomized) by her own drunk husband, both of them fully clothed. It causes her to have a miscarriage. It lasts maybe 10 seconds.

11:30 - Thurzo is having sex with a maid, but when the countess stumbles in upon them, the maid acts like she is being raped. It lasts 10 seconds at the most.

18:30 - Several naked women run screaming through the enemy camp during a battle, causing the profligate Catholic soldiers to stop fighting and chase them down to rape them, even though the Protestant Count Bathory suspects it is a Muslim trap, which it is. Random flashes of naked harlots running and being clumsily fallen upon by fully armored Catholic soldiers until the Turkish Muslim soldiers jump out of the tents and kill or capture them. From first running naked harlot in the background to last running naked harlot in the background, it is 30 seconds, but fleeing naked harlots are not seen the entire time.

25:20 - While en route to Transylvania, Countess Bathory's coach passes a field in which two female-looking persons are tied back-to-back being burned at the stake while Catholic or Protestant religious types stand around harmonizing. It is a back-lit and indistinct scene that goes for about 10 seconds.

31:10 - After Count Bathory sleeps with random servant girls while recuperating from a wound, Countess Bathory orders every servant girl whipped. Brief panning scene of four or five girls fully clothed tied wrists to post being whipped that flashes by in 5 seconds.

38:45 - Countess Bathory holds a servant girl's hand over a flame to compel her to answer a question. Her answer prompts the countess to crop her skirts as she flees around the room. It goes for about 15 seconds.

01:08:58 - In a drug-induced rage, Countess Bathory stabs a servant girl to death with a pair of hair clippers in a 10-second rampage.

01:22:20 - Some random girl is chained face toward a dungeon wall, naked, and branded on her butt, then on her leg in the background during a conversation. The torture scene lasts about 15 seconds.

01:30:53 - Two maids are rope-tied hands in front and bent over a bathtub about to be cut and bled but are rescued at the last minute in a 10-second scene interrupted by an outside shot of soldiers on horses.

01:50:30 - Half a dozen or so completely clad girls are chained all in a row to a dungeon wall in preparation for some dire purpose, but they are rescued and released. Their scene is interspersed between action scenes, but you maybe see them whining piteously for 5 or 10 seconds total.

01:53:20 - The serving woman who betrayed the countess is hanging by her wrists off the ground, being whipped. You can see one of her breasts but it is nothing to look at, really. She is not a babe. Quick flashes, but maybe 4 or 5 seconds in all.

01:58:45 - Two old hags are chained AOH against a dungeon wall being questioned. When they don't like the answer one gives, they pull on her wrist restraints to stretch her. Lasts 10 or 15 seconds.

02:00:00 - Two girls are tied to crosses back-to-back and hoisted into the air over a pyre and burned, although all you see for the most part is smoke as they scream. Maybe 15 seconds.

32:50 - Brief 2-second flash of Anna Friel's naked butt while she is being painted by the Italian painter.

40:00 - Random topless girls, one dead in a morgue but the others standing idly around as the countess plays the harpsichord (or whatever). It lasts 15 seconds, tops.

54:48 - Anna Friel's breasts as she lounges in a bath of red-tinted water for 4 seconds.

01:06:10 - During an over-lighted artsy drug-induced dream sequence, we see Anna Friel briefly nude for, oh, about 26 seconds on and off.

01:11:00 - Anna Friel's breasts in the red-tinted bathwater again for 5 seconds.

01:11:56 - Hana Vagnerova (Margita) is standing nude bathing while the Catholic novice watches from above for 15 seconds.
