ATHB-36: Female Agent in Captivity is from Giga’s Wrestling and Combat series. These movies can be short on bondage and they usually concentrate on a superhero undercover (near as I can tell) that gets caught in criminal wrestling ring. Usually a male wrestler inflicts most of the punishment. This movie though takes an interesting turn for two reasons. One, it is based on a non-super heroine theme (I wish Giga would do more of these) and two, Azumi is nude through much (about half) of the movie. Not Jap GIMP nude with a big belt over the waist and a pair of boots on, stark naked. This is a good thing.
The plot of the movie, near as I can tell, has Azumi as a police officer breaking into the criminal's lair. She fights a couple of the protagonists and defeats them, and then the head honcho sends his main baddy in. He defeats her using a combination of punches, kicks, headbutts and other moves. While he’s defeating her he tears off her clothing. Azumi takes quite a beating in this scene and is seen lying on the floor in the end defeated, and clothesless. All in all an A+: this is one of two of the great beat down scenes in this movie.
In the next scene she begins clothed again, tied up arms behind to a chair. She is injected with something and untied. This begins another beat down scene with the head honcho delivering most of the beating with some help from his main bad guy. This scene ends in a typical Attackers type rape scene. If not for the physical action before it wouldn't be that good. Azumi doesn't struggle as much as usual (because of the drugs) but she does look great underneath the bad guy before she passes out. A solid B+ effort.
In the next scene she awakens in a cell, partially clothed and manages to escape but winds up in the same location facing the bad guy and his boss. Weakened by the drugs, she takes another beat-down along with some serious molestation. In the finale she absorbs some great blows while completely nude including some great gut punches (something I'm a fan of). The final kill shot, a pile driver with her lying on the floor, is priceless and she reacts to the abuse like a real victim. Another A+ scene
Now one other quick note. The production values of this one are a little quirky. The filming at times appears a little jerky, not quite Blair Witch Project jerky, but there were times I would have appreciated a steadier hand. I'm going to give it an A overall; Azumi is well worth the $15 admission fee.
