If anyone was looking for the GIMP World equivalent of lunch-bag letdown, Torture Club might fit the bill.

This Japanese porn film from Attackers should be terrific. It's beautifully photographed, has an attractive star, and includes a healthy mix of torture and rape scenes, including some pretty imaginative torture scenarios. How could it go wrong?

And yet, in many ways, it does.

There's no plot, almost no dialogue, no acting (other than the victim squealing and crying) and some parts drag on much too long. The net effect is a movie that has its moments but is often surprisingly lifeless.

The premise of the movie is that a woman is subjected to a series of tortures that may be either reality or fantasy. Whatever the case, it's definitely non-consensual, so the premise works fine as GIMP fare.

Misa Yuki, an attractive MILF, plays the victim. When we first see her, she is bound by chains in a standing position, with her arms chained to the ceiling and her ankles chained to cinder blocks. She is wearing nothing but dirty panties and a sack over her head. A villain arrives and removes the sack, and terrified Misa tries to understand what is happening to her.

In a new scene, a villain links a chain attached to Misa's cuffed wrists to a hook that hangs by chain from a pulley above. The villain ties various ropes around Misa and positions her on her back on the floor so he can tie her ankles to nearby cinder blocks.

The villain frees Misa's wrists from the cuffs and ties them by rope to cinder blocks, while the hook that hangs from the ceiling is linked to a rope tied around Misa's waist and legs. The villain uses the pulley and chain to hoist Misa in the air, with her arms and legs still bound to the cinder blocks. Misa squeals as she dangles in that position for a significant stretch of time.

Eventually, Misa is lowered back to the ground and is left lying on the floor, drenched in sweat and gasping for air while still tied to the cinder blocks.

Some vibrator action follows. Misa, who is completely naked, is seated in a wooden chair, with her cuffed arms and legs tied by chains to boards at the back of the chair. Three villains arrive and run their hands over Misa's tits and body.

The villains use an assortment of vibrators -- including bullet and massager vibrators and a rabbit vibrator -- on Misa's body, breasts and, of course, her pussy. Unfortunately, the vibrators segment runs for about 25 minutes, which is way too long and really drags down the movie.

Sexual assault is the next item on the menu. The three villains from the vibrator sequence place Misa in a pillory, with her head and arms locked in the boards and her ankles bound by cuffs and chains. For some odd reason, the three villains are wearing black T-shirts and undies but no pants.

One of the pant-less fiends, an older gent, approaches Misa's imprisoned head. He lowers his undies and runs his dick against Misa's face as Misa protests. After rubbing his member against Misa's tightly closed mouth, the villain grabs the back of Misa's head and forces her to blow him.

The older guy positions himself near Misa's back end and spanks her ass, eliciting cries of pain. Misa does some nice squirming and squealin' as her butt is repeatedly smacked. Once Misa's ass is sufficiently reddened, the older guy steps aside and a second fiend moves in to fuck Misa.

Misa shrieks as she is slammed and the rapist bangs away until he cums inside her. A second guy takes his turn, grabbing the boards to help him thrust with more force. That guy also finishes inside Misa. The older guy returns and he plows Misa. Once the older dude has withdrawn, a stream of cum flows from Misa's pussy as her body quivers.

The gang-rape segment is OK but disappointing. Because of the absence of any dialogue, it isn't as nasty as it could have been. These scenes should have been much better.

Up next, naked Misa -- whose arms are tied behind her back -- is forced to kneel on a pallet of triangular wooden posts that is arranged so the sharp vertices of the posts form the top of the pallet. Misa's body and hair are tied to a rope from the ceiling.

The villain places cinder blocks on Misa's lap and binds them in place. Misa shrieks in pain while her body drips in sweat. This scene is well executed, although it's not the kind of thing that does much for me.

One of the film's stronger sequences follows. Misa, who is once again wearing the dirty panties, is tied to an apparatus that is a combination of a wooden cross and a set-up resembling a wooden horse. A noose is strung around Misa's neck, although not tightly, and a villain pulls off Misa's panties.

A wooden beam is secured in a horizontal position between Misa's legs. Two villains remove the cinder blocks that were beneath Misa's feet so that Misa is painfully straddling the edge of the wooden beam while her arms are bound to the cross. A villain ties a wooden bit gag into Misa's mouth and leaves Misa squirming in agony.

It gets even better. The cinder blocks are briefly placed back underneath Misa's feet so the horizontal post can be replaced with a similar post that has a huge electric massager vibrator inserted in a hole in the middle. The cinder blocks are taken away and the huge vibrator is activated. Soaked in sweat, Misa squeals through her bit gag as she rides the makeshift wooden horse and its large vibrator.

As Misa continues to straddle the post with the vibrator, one of the villains attaches clothespins to Misa's nipples. The clothespins are tied to wires that allow the villain and his friend to tweak Misa's tits.

Misa shrieks in pain when the villains cruelly yank the clothespins off her nipples.

As the vibrator stimulates her pussy, Misa squeals and rocks her legs. The squeals hit high decibels and Misa climaxes, squirting all over the huge electronic device. After the vibrator is switched off, Misa continues to grunt and groan.

The best part of Torture Club comes at the end. Naked Misa, whose legs are tightly bound by ropes and whose arms are tied behind her back, is hanging upside down from the ceiling. She is tied to an overhead trolley system that lets the villains push her back and forth from one side of the room to the other. Two villains push Misa back and forth a couple of times and then take turns thrashing her with floggers.

The whippings are delivered with force and Misa's cries and squeals are perfect. At times, Misa is centred between the villains and they both whip her. The film ends with a beaten Misa dangling upside down as snot drips off the bridge of her nose.
