I was encouraged when Hot Summer in the City started and the background music was "Summer in the City," by the Lovin' Spoonful. He tells her he'll pick her up in the morning to go to Sunday School. She might as well have INNOCENT VIRGIN stamped on her forehead. As she walks to the house, the background music changes to the Doors' "Light My Fire."

Debby is played by Lisa Baker, by the way, who was Playboy's Playmate of the Year for 1967. She kind of has that Britney Spears wholesome blond innocent look that morphs so easily into that fat trailer trash look before you know it. But she's still very early Britney looking in this movie, which, according to IMDB, was her only movie. Quentin Tarantino loves this movie as well, by the way.

Okay, in case you didn't pick up on it in my review, this flick had an incredibly racist subtext. This played out more like a public service announcement co-funded by the John Birch Society and the Ku Klux Klan. It was pretty offensive.

However, as a GIMP flick it was not bad. It had the initial kidnapping and back seat rape of Debby by the head black dude. It had the gang bang rape of Debby by the three other black dudes. It had the rape of the black bitch by two of the black dudes. It had the bondage scene where Debby was tied to the bed. It had the rape scene where the retarded guy sodomized Debby. It also had the consensual sex scene thrown in there which was at least XXX sex. Debby did fight initially, but the noises she made while being raped were fairly lame. If she had been a virgin, I would have expected more shrill screaming during her rapes. Also, I would have expected more shrill screaming while she was being sodomized. So that aspect could have been better. But the rapes were pretty good. So this gets a B-.
