A Bring Out the GIMP (Girls in Merciless Peril) Movie Review

Anyone But My Husband

Anyone But My Husband, from Alpha Blue Archives - man, these golden age films really have aged badly. Someone posted here before about Marilyn Chambers in Behind the Green Door, which I agree has aged a little, but still has SOME charm, including Ms Chambers' beauty, her great sex scene with Johnny Keyes, and the "she comes in colors" scene that the Rolling Stones sang about.

I recently saw an uncut DVD of Anyone But My Husband with CJ Laing. Ugh. For one, she is not attractive enough for me. It is SO nice that better looking girls nowadays have gotten into porn. Also, I didn't really think about it before now, but I MUCH prefer the brightly lit, video flix of today versus the dimmer filmed on film flix of yesteryear. Finally, the one bondage and whipping scene, she's screaming (yuk), it's poorly edited and poorly filmed (dont you hate it when say the villain is tying the victim's wrist and the edge of the picture cuts off before the wrist so all you see is the forearm, until EVENTUALLY the stoned filmer thinks to lift the camera another inch or two? You want to just scream, "MOVE THE CAMERA UP TWO INCHES, YOU FREAKING IDIOT!")

So, that's Anyone But My Husband - a waste of money on DVD.
