Oh No! Now you've done it. Here comes the bugs for sure ;-).

Here is an interesting picture from Kink's Hogtied site for crucify lovers just posted today at the StakeDamsels forum.

I don't remember Kink doing any crucify gimp movies and I know it's consensual but it still looks hot to me. Better than bugs for sure. Bill K.

I have to add to my last post that I know Hogtied did crucify type poses but not like the one in the photo I posted where she's bound to a traditional built cross. Like you would see in a Roman or Amy crucify gimp movie.

I tried finding that Hogtied movie in their library of movies but couldn't find it. Any Gimpers recognize the movie and/or the actress? Bill K.

May Day! May Day!

Today is the day that Netflix Streaming jettisoned hundreds of movies, including about half of the ones that were in my queue. Well, I probably wouldn't have gotten around to all of them anyway. Still, I don't like the idea of someone else telling me which movies I can and cannot see. Yeah, I know, it's business, supply and demand, blah, blah, blah.

The problem is that every time something like this happens, some movies that I like vanish. Forever.

I had to scramble to cap a movie that I am planning to review in the near future. Only had time to save one. Hope I made the right choice.

Does anyone know if Netflix is planning something like this with their mail service?

Today's Pic: Finally...proof positive that size does NOT matter. Sort of.

Gog: Looks like an artist's rendering of the Galaxy of Terror scene, using more color and light and a different angle. Nicely done.

Catching up on a few posts...

Mr. 0: Great to see you back with one of your patented detailed and cap-filled reviews. Hitch Hike is a film I finally got around to seeing a few years ago. Even though Corrine Clery never got tied up in the movie, there's lots of humiliation, nudity and rape, and of course, she's the epitome of female perfection in my book. This was just a couple years after her starring role in The Story of O so she was still in her prime. And then there's the perfect casting of the late David Hess, playing the kind of scary scumbag role that he excelled in. It's a real good film, and your review did a great job of selling it to those who haven't seen it. Definitely worth checking out.

The link to your review is in my Homepage URL above.

The worm rape scene in Galaxy of Terror: Count me as one of the few who wasn't familiar with that scene. So I looked it up on YouTube. So for those of you who have seen it and those that haven't, click on the link here:

I suppose it's a classic scene if people are still talking about it decades later, but it didn't do a lot for me. I admire it for what it is, but I always like to put myself in the role of the villain. I have a hard time imagining myself as giant worm. But I can see how the scene would have an appeal to some of us out there. And Rick Masters must have watched it over and over again.

YikYakker: I haven't looked at my Netflix queue yet, and when I do I'll probably be annoyed too. But it's worth noting that the article you pointed to makes it pretty clear that the decision was made by others, not Netflix:

"MGM, Warner Bros. and Universal are pulling their libraries May 1 and moving them to the new Warner Archive Instant."

And few (if any) of the movies should "vanish forever." Presumably Netflix will still have them available on DVD.

No worms for me, thanks.

I prefer streaming over the mail service - that's why I'm annoyed.

It will be interesting to see what Warner Archive Instant has to offer.

While I wait for the bugs and vore and tentacles to pass, I've been trying to find a site to download the Cinemagic videos mentioned on the board not long ago, the spy torture series, most recently with 3 girls whipped and electroed. I think someone in the group mentioned the DMM site, and even included a link. I have access to the site, but I can't find the videos, though I know they are there. Anyone help me?

We have reasons to celebrate. Amy has a birthday today! and her interview with Fangoria came just in time for the celebrations. We can also celebrate that the Cinemateca is going to have a kind of Bluebeard film fest around Amy's second feature Barbazul. Yes. They are going to show 5 or 6 Bluebeard films with Barbazul as the main dish, with discussions, debates and talks. They are organizing it for August 10, 11 and 12th to coincide with the Book Fair that will take place in those dates. The reason, Barbazul is an adaptation of a literary work, so the discussions will be centered on the subject of literary adaptations to film.

If that's not enough to celebrate, it looks like there's already one contributor to Amy's new film, Olalla, we can't discuss much of that, but the crowdfunding effort is already beginning to show results, even if it hasn't been launched yet.

And yet, there's another reason to celebrate. Awesome Magazine will run an interview with Amy and will have her on the cover.

Another reason to celebrate is the attention Dead But Dreaming is getting. We'll be shooting the missing sequence next weekend, but in the meantime we have received news that City Hall is going to be sponsoring us big time. We'll have a big premiere where the mayor of the city will be present. At least that's what they said.

We have a date for the theatrical release. July 25th. The world release will be prior to that date, so, July is the month for Dead But Dreaming. We're very anxious and stressed out.

Dead But Dreaming, as most of our latest productions, is a mainstream film. It simply means that we can offer it in mainstream outlets, like movie houses, and, where even Maleficarum has a place now, and as YikYakker says: I propose that the fifth criterion for elevating a GIMP scene to classic status should be the scenario itself. Is there something about it that makes it stand out from the crowd? For example: ~ Amy Hesketh whipped while riding a wooden horse in Maleficarum. Maleficarum is already a classic of great GIMP in mainstream cinema, not only for that scene alone, but because of the entire movie.

Jac was commenting recently, to Beto, the famous inquisitor, that he didn't expect Maleficarum to grow the way it is growing. He thought that it would be very well received in our then small world of Red Feline. He didn't even want to go theatrical. He wanted a quick run at the Cinemateca so the actors could take their friends to a nice premiere. But no, it wasn't like that. It became the most polemic film in Bolivian cinema history, and it's steadily reaching farther and farther. Yes, it is a classic of GIMP in a mainstream movie.

I have to admit that there are some resemblances amongst the ladies in Pachamama Films. I remember well the day when one of the actresses in the miniseries Jac was directing back then, saw a picture on the wall and said to me. "That's a nice picture of you" ... and I said to her, "No, that's Carmen"... and she commented "She's a younger version than you". I was not very pleased with that.

I'm not saying that Carmen looks like me, but there's something in her that has some similarities. YikYakker is not far off when he has to guess that it is Carmen Paintoux in the pictures. She has unforgettable eyes. The intensity she projects in Martyr is unforgettable, the same intensity is displayed in all her films, including El Hombre de la Luna, (The Man From The Moon) the miniseries.

Gog said: Damn! I think Ralphus is right. I didn't really think it looked like Amy, but thought the make-up was overdone for purposes of promotional pic, thereby giving a different appearance (like Lindsay as Marilyn for example) . It's easy to mistake them sometimes, not all the times, some of their features are very similar. There was another actress who also worked in the miniseries, and worked on a video with Jac and when Amy was looking at all of the work of that time, she thought that woman was Carmen. Even tough they don't look a lot like each other. Maybe it's the way Jac uses the camera sometimes, the angles he chooses, the poses. Or maybe not, maybe he just likes that type.

Gog: If I were Amy, I'd immediately send in a complaint in to Fangoria and get this rectified ASAP! Her fans deserve to get an issue with the correct picture on the cover......and giant poster on the inside. :-)

The complaint has been sent and Amy has been promised better coverage next time around. They are going to be reviewing the films, so Amy expects a proper cover with her face on it.

Gog: And I agree....not only about Fangoria, but about the DVD's selling on Amazon as well. It does my heart good to see Amy & crew do well. I can now wear my pervertedness with pride. Now if someone can do the same concerning my dementedness.;-)

We have three DVDs in Amazon and they are being considered for downloads as well. We're slowly building an audience in that market. We're thrilled with the idea of reaching a much, much larger audience. We are seeing that. Not only in, but in Vermeerworks as well. It's fantastic. It's not translating in millions of dollars yet. Just a few hundred here and there, but it grows. We're hoping that as we release new films, and we become better known in the larger world, we'll see our audience grow to millions. One film that might do its work for this growth is Dead But Dreaming.

Ralphus to Gog: Cool Fangoria cover! But in this case, I'm afraid the joke is on you. I'm pretty sure (although not 100% certain) that's Camille, not Amy. Same with the upside-down chick on the cross, Robert. I would imagine both she and Amy get mistaken for each other quite a bit. They're both beautiful women with slim figures, small breasts and long brown hair, and their facial features are quite similar, too. It probably happens a lot. It just shows you what a charmer Jac Avila must be to snare not one but two doll babies as his partners. Most of us would be lucky to have just one. And some of us would need a stun gun just to do that.

Yes, the lady in the pictures is Camille, aka Carmen, as I mentioned before, and she is in both pictures, the Fangoria and the upside down cross are from Martyr. Is Jac such a charmer? His ex wife has an uncanny resemblance to Amy, in fact, when Amy saw the pictures she kind of froze, it was an eery experience for her.

The picture below is.... not Amy, not Vero, Not Carmen, NOT me ... that's the ex-wife, I'll call her Vany, circa 1970's

And then there's Vero, Carmen's fraternal twin sister. Who, being Carmen's twin, resembles her a bit, but they are not identical twins. Mila was scanning Jac's old photos and diaries, to get all those pictures he has there, and she came across a lot of interesting and historical pictures. I made a composite of three pictures: Carmen, Vero and Amy. You might be able to tell the difference.

Ralphus to Gog: Nonetheless, I like your cover a lot better than the one they came up with. An ugly guy with a skull face and dreadlocks doesn't make me want to pick up the issue. A naked chick tied AOH? I'm there!

I agree of course, ugly guy vs beautiful chick... no discussion there. But getting back to Fangoria, I don't think anybody has mentioned what an incredible accomplishment it is to be featured in that magazine. ... So the fact that Amy is now in the current issue is proof that she (and Maleficarum) have finally arrived. They've made the big time!

It is a great thing, of course, to be in Fangoria and it won't be the last time. When Amy thanked the editor of the magazine he replied "We love you at Fangoria!", it may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. It's also the starting point of a totally new faze on this wonderful road.

Gog: The Fangoria issue is fine and all.....but this is the issue that I'm REALLY looking forward to:

And maybe the picture below could be in the cover of a future Fangoria issue.

carnyx: Hi Amy- Is that you on the upside down X cross in "Martyr"? Take care.

Just in case some might not have gotten it yet, Camille is the protagonist of Martyr. She's the one that is crucified three times in that movie, once upside down, she's the one that plays the role of Camille in Martyr and in all of the Via Crucis movies, she's the star of the mini-series El Hombre de la Luna, and she's the one that started Red Feline.

And so, I come to the end of my incredibly short post, I leave you with one picture from Jac's Diaries. This is from the very old days when Carmen and Vero were living with Jac in La Paz in 1996. They are both seasoned actresses now, Carmen is a filmmaker as well and a regular theater actress in Paris. She runs a yearly show.

I hope to have some amazing pictures from the shooting after May 12th. Until then!

I'll have more exciting news soon. Until then!

Hello you all! I am glad you enjoyed my review on Unjust Execution Heroine. I really wanted to post back ASAP, but work and life have been such a drag lol.

@ A Canadian. Thanks for the comments! Yeah Kotomi is cute, and I agree it was a shame to have her dressed for most of the video; but I would have to disagree on that she was not dressed as a superheroine or some space girl, as it gave variety to their usual offerings. But in a way she was both; a magical girl superheroine based on a girl usually in space.

@ YikkYakker. Also thanks for the mention. Maybe I was being too analytical; the first draft I gave of the review handed over to Ralphus (to whom I deeply thank and appreciate his help and patience on being my editor and proof reading my review drafts lol) tried to deal with some metaphysical B. S. on why this is happening to poor little Rinka since she is a noble figure of truth and justice; well lately for some other project I have been doing research on the metaphysical; and eastern religions and philosophies on how karma and reincarnation work, and basically little Rinka should had never gotten herself involved into such line of job. Sort of saying, one has to stay away from bad people even if trying to be a hero. On some forums there is discussion from the latest Bond film in which there is the mention that the job of a super spy is not as glamourous as past Bond movies and fantasy makes it believe; as it is basically one where you are cannon fodder. (Too bad there are not much mainstream female spy movies where we can see what happens when things go wrong lol).

Who knows how Rinka's powers worked in the first place, but maybe she was being honest and waiting for the chance to clear her name. She had no idea it was the law herself the one that was screwing herself up. That gave extra drama into all of this as maybe she was even confused on all what was happening. I loved to see a clearly innocent girl suffer to her very last breath. In the early draft, I mentioned it would had been cool if we had seen somewhere (or if they made an extra video), where we see her forever tormented in hell being a martyr despite heavenly beings knows she is innocent. But that would the metaphysical bullshit I mentioned lol.

Again thank you Ralphus. About your post dated Sunday, April 7th 2013 - 12:46:03 AM. I loved that you posted AWAWA's old site! I hope it never goes down. Makes me remember the late 90's early 2000's when hentai artists had their own sites and offered things for free. Sadly starting the mid 2000's; some artists closed their sites; offered only things for sale and moved to Pixiv which seems nice and all, but I miss sites that had their own personality. Plus my original hard drive crashed, losing images and bookmarks. Some images are lost forever (ohhh I miss Sophitia raped in a bar), and as the bookmarks are gone, can't check them on Internet Archive.

Some of the few sites still around are AMAZONESS CULTURE VILLAGE (, but sadly it has not updated in a long time and used to place things at times, then took them off to the point some content is lost. Dark Purple ( And HyperHeroines ( which has some stuff that used to be hosted at Gureda's Lesbian Sexual Torture (, but sadly some of it seems to has been lost in the transition. Man, I really miss when sites where like that; even Pixiv doesn't give artists much freedom from what I am told.

Sad to hear on the passing of Jess Franco, at least he is finally reunited with his muse Lina Romay. I hope we get to see his films on BluRay soon as I missed most of them when they got released on DVD. Only managed to get Barbed Wire Dolls and Cellblock 9 as I was just a college kid in 2003 with no income. And had to save to get stuff. Yeah Lina had that odd tender mix of a young girl and a mature woman back in her days, reminds me of Tina Romero who maybe most of you know as Alucarda. She is still alive and has a daughter but she can hold a candle to her mother back in her age. That is something I wish I could speak more on this board, about vintage beauties to know your opinion or to locate the films where are they from. But maybe not all are GIMP material so I am not sure lol. I remember once seeing this film which opened with the bad guys of the film at a shower where all of the sudden a beautiful naked woman appeared out of the tub, but that was not the main deal of the film. The bad guys were planning to hold for ransom a place with college girls, they do capture it, and as they film a ransom video with the film's heroine; they get one of the girls and rape her in such a beautiful fashion. Sadly I never knew what film was that.

I was also wondering if I could also speak of 2 of Tina Romero's films here?

@ Reine Margot: Well happy birthday Amy! Hope we get to see more of your projects in years to come! Another reason I wish to be more around here; is to get to know more about your works. Does Amy works out in some special routines? Her physique is great! And I hope to see more agent/spy films in the future as I loved Agent X! Yeah another problem I had with Rinka was that she was more of an ordinary girl, and they usually have low endurance; but I love to see strong women enduring tortures. Which is something more common when a female spy/agent is captured and taken into interrogation for torture. It is fun to see if they will break but live in shame, cowardice and seen as traitors? Or endure and die as martyrs? (Oh Paola D'Egidio, I loved her performance back in SS Camp Women's Hell. Loved her defiant face). Well that is all for now. Take care.

P.S. That 1996 picture is heavenly, the years have been kind for them. They look as young as ever today!

I also posted a preview page for the series above. If you click on it, then change the number that appears in the address that's right before where it says index, you'll be able to see a good portion of the series. But only change to a progressively higher ODD number (ie:01, 03....19, etc.).

You can subscribe to Quoom's site with any Visa or Mastercard account. The cost may be listed in Euros, but it will automatically be converted to your home currency on your bill. As you've probably noticed, it ain't cheap ($33 US per month) and updates are infrequent at best. You can go for three or four weeks with just one new upload of 30 or 40 pictures. The way to save some dough is to sign up every year or two and download all the stuff you want over the course of your one month subscription, then cancel and repeat in another year or two.

Quoom is one of the best 3D peril artists around, but even his stuff isn't worth a buck an image. Further, only in very rare cases does he ever finish his story sequences, which is frustrating for those of us who want to see how things ultimately turn out.

As for finding his material on other sites, good luck. Quoom's work used to show up occasionally on BDSM art collections like Drawing Palace, Torture Drawing and others, but most of those places folded years ago. BDSMArt (DoFantasy) is still around and had a few of his stories, but I suspect anything you find there or elsewhere will be stuff he did ages ago. If you're desperate enough, you'll probably find his newer sets available via BitTorrent, but that's not my bag so I can't help you there.

If you've never been a member, splurge and sign-up to his site for one month. You'll be able to download a gazillion images - he's got archives dating back ten years - then cancel your subscription till you've got another 33 bucks burning a hole in your pocket.

Spanks... I mean... Thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone! It was pretty low-key this year... except for being kidnapped by the creature from the Black Lagoon...

Gog - Anything I can do to aid in stalki... I mean collecting, is a pleasure, just ask! I'll have some interesting pics coming up, as I have to send one for the cover of Awesome Magazine. And it's about time I had some new pics. Anyone who has suggestions or ideas, I welcome them!

And to answer your previous question about why TV never shows semen being collected at a crime scene. That's a simple one. Fantasy, i.e. TV, violence is often celebrated while sex and related secretions are demonized. That's our Puritanical roots showing.

Daniel - What would a birthday be without spanking and burning candles?

GuymanSeven - I work out with my friend Pablo, who's a personal trainer, 2 times a week and go to the gym another 3 days out of the week. It sounds weird, but going to the gym is my "me" time.

YikYakker - Thank you! Indeed, there has been a huge arc for us this year, especially for me, here's to another year of things to celebrate!

I have to say that looking back over the past year (or two) makes me feel so grateful for what's been happening for us. It's so amazing to be able to do what I love. And completely worth the sacrifices.

Cool! I'd be interested to see that "Awesome" cover. Keep us posted. :-)

And wrote: "And it's about time I had some new pics. Anyone who has suggestions or ideas, I welcome them!"

Cool again! I'll have to think of some suggestions for you......once I recover from that "Amy in Pink" picture, as it still has my heart go blank, and my mind go pitter-pat. Wait....strike that. Reverse it. :-)

And wrote as well: "And to answer your previous question about why TV never shows semen being collected at a crime scene. That's a simple one. Fantasy, i.e. TV, violence is often celebrated while sex and related secretions are demonized. That's our Puritanical roots showing."

So I take it we're not going to get to see you in a scene like this any time soon? Damn! ;-)

And about getting carried off by the Creature.....And on your Birthday even. Got to say he's got excellent taste! But am really glad you were able to get away.

But what a cool remake that could be! "Amy Meets the Creature from the Black Lagoon".

Unfortunately, Amy gets carried off by the Creature. Fortunately, she escapes thanks to a tear-away bikini. Fortunately, (for us) she runs wet and naked through the jungle. Unfortunately, she's captured by natives, tied up, and put into a boiling pot (well...not quite boiling yet). Fortunately, she's rescued by some handsome big-game hunter. Unfortunately, he moonlights as a serial killer who ties her spread-eagle, staked to the ground, raped and forced to orally climax her new captor. Fortunately, the rape has ended (Unfortunately for us viewing).

Unfortunately, she's noosed, made to stand on her toes on a small log, then the log kicked away as Amy swings by the neck. Fortunately, the Serial killer leaves, and the branch breaks, sending Amy falling back down to earth. Unfortunately she is once again forced to traverse the jungle naked, but this time with her hands tied behind her back. Fortunately, she makes good ground to distance herself from both the natives and serial killer. Unfortunately, Amy steps into a snare-trap and ends up hanging upside down by one of her ankles. Fortunately she is cut down by another tribe of diminutive, afro 'd natives who shimmy down the trees.

Unfortunately, they carry her off suspended from a pole being carried by a couple of the tribe members. Fortunately, she is able to rest some as she's carried off. Unfortunately, it's not very comfortable as Amy is hanging face down with her ankles and wrists tied to the pole behind her back, and because they are so short, her breasts are scarped up by the rocks and thistles as she's carried along. Fortunately, they arrive at their village and Amy is freed from the pole.

Unfortunately, she is once again tied naked on a make-shift wooden rack overhanging dry brush and branches to be set aflame as a sacrifice to their God. Fortunately, a sudden rainstorm douses the flames and the accompanying thunder has the diminutive fro'd natives running for their caves. Fortunately, the rain softens the dried vines that bind Amy and she is able to escape. Unfortunately, the rain sends a flash flood in motion sweeping up Amy and everything in its path, as Amy is carried back to the river, right into the waiting arms of the Creature she not so long ago escaped from.

What will be Amy's fate? After all, the tear-away bikini is no longer.....How will she escape now? Or is her fate now a foregone conclusion? the screenplay may get a Razzies award. But with Amy's talent, vision, and above all, beauty.....I see Oscar all over this. If not an Oscar....maybe the second most prestigious award known to man.....a Ralphus! :-)

I just figured that any GIMP who endured that series of fortunate/unfortunate incidents would either experience face-down-in-the-gutter despair or let loose with a non-stop stream of profanities. Of course, I would trust your own artistic interpretation completely.

Yik Yakker- I think Amy shouldn't stop at just the "Creature" remake....I'm sure she could do wonders in this one as well:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One thing would be for GIMPers could count on a few scenes that we all hoped would be in the originals, but always fall short. :-)

And BTW, I'm sure Amy has a wonderful sense of humor.

Concerning the original "Fangoria" mag cover, I've seen "The Lords of Salem". It's the new Rob Zombie movie that's on the cover (BTW, that's not a guy, it's Sherri Moon Zombie in the cover pic).

For anyone interested, there are a few BATS scenes in it. But I think you'd really have to be into BATS hardcore to enjoy them. The reason being is that most of the victims are a tad older than one would care to see.....especially naked.

Gog: "Amy Meets the Creature from the Black Lagoon"...Now, I would pay to see a movie like that! What you described sounds like an overly bondage-filled version of those old serials from yesteryear, updated with 21st century sexual themes and nudity. It's the kind of story that The Perils of Gwendoline should have been but they chickened out and also cast an actress who objected to all the bondage.

Now, Amy Hesketh would likely be game enough and athletic enough to take on a role like that, but now that she's become a serious actress and her company is making prestigious films about writers and vampires that are written up in top magazines, I'm not sure she would go back to her roots and make a complete bondage romp, even though a production like that could have serious cult appeal. I like the idea of the diminutive, afro'd natives, though. I would come out of acting retirement to help out, but I'm not sure who else you would cast alongside me. Maybe with today's computer technology, I could play all the roles like they did with the guy who played all the oompa loompas in that Willy Wonka movie.

Getting back to the old serials, those could always be counted on to give us a few scenes of damsels in peril, some of them quite good. Of course, they had to be kid-friendly, since that was their primary audience. That meant no nudity or sexual situations, which was also a product of the era they were made in. A modern-day R-rated version of the same type of story, only with nudity and lots of bondage, could be top seller today.

WAVE Video years ago did a bondage serial (the "Trapped" miniseries) that I enjoyed, but face it, that company has always been lame and the director couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag.

Has anybody ever checked out the more recent Paula Peril series of movies?

They're more like a comic book, and I bought one of them but was largely disappointed that it didn't go far enough. To me, they're more for the Brian's Page crowd. And again, no nudity.

Anyway, here's a blast from the past, one of my favorite scenes from those old serials, and the latest entry to our Torture Rack Scenes Database (for the suspension scene). It's Phyllis Coates dangled over a fire pit in the classic Republic serial Jungle Drums of Africa. How cool would it be to remake this with full nudity? But even without the bare skin, I still dig this one a lot.

Ralphus: That clip from Jungle Drums of Africa was highly entertaining. I don't think anyone would try producing something like that now...too un-PC.

But how about that flying tackle save by the hero? And she wasn't even wearing a helmet or pads! Sometimes the solution can be worse than the problem.

The Paula Peril previews are interesting as well...a bit tame, relatively speaking, but I like the fact that occasionally Paula lets the girls out for some air.

I think I'd prefer to see Valerie and Marla switch roles...let Valerie be the bad girl and have Marla play Paula. Just a thought.

Anyway, the comic book version of Paula ain't bad either.

Hi, all,

Allow me to return for a moment to the infamous Galaxy of Terror Worm Rape Scene, or to its aftermath. I have always wondered why the astronaut comrades of the blonde GIMP, upon finding her naked covered in wormy fluids, would proceed straight to burning her with their weapons, without even having checked whether she was still alive! Was there a protocol in function, had they seen the video or the "no-one is left behind" ethos had been abandoned in those times?

Hi all, again,

I have always liked the way Quoom depicts sweating, a factor often forgotten by filmmakers. However, I would complain against his excessive reliance on traditional BDSM conventions, like his abuse of rape scenes. Hard as it may be to believe now, in past times, GIMP subjected to torture were not usually raped; and of course no-one would put his dick into a suspected witch!

Besides, though his latter model (I mean the type of girl model he uses in his latter works, like the one seen in the latest Pic of the Day) is undoubtely better detailed and texturized, I really like best the one he used in earlier works, like the one seen in "Celtic Princess", or "Braveheart".

That may well be, and I can understand why folks who like to adhere to historical accuracy might be "taken out of the situation" by something like that, and thus find their enjoyment of the scene diminished.

Personally, I find that it's better to roll with the fantasy, as long as it is not a terribly egregious violation against the standards of realism. I ask myself: Is it plausible that such a thing could happen? Here's a scenario to consider...

Inquisitor: What?! You raped an accused witch?!
Torturer: A thousand pardons, your worship! But the witch put a spell on me. She mumbled an incantation, and my cock did swell and lead me into temptation. I was compelled beyond my own free will to fuck the temptress! Please have mercy!
Inquisitor: Hmmm...I see. Proof positive that she is indeed a witch! What need have we of a confession? She has confessed by her own sinful transgression and by calling upon Satan's powers she had exercised compulsion over my own designated torturer, robbing him of his reason!
Tonight she shall burn! Gather wood and prepare the conflagration!

passer-by: Thanks for your assistance. I sent a note to Covers.

Daniel: I assume you're referring to the 1950's TV series, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, with Irish McCalla.

IMDb notes that this show only ran for one season (1955-56, 26 episodes). Unfortunately, it was a little before my TV-watching period, so I never saw it.

But there are a number of YouTube excerpts on-line such as this one, in which Sheena is bound hands behind back.

IMDb also notes that Irish McCalla was very athletic and performed her own stunts, until she was injured and they had to use a stunt double. I admire a GIMP actress who has that kind of stamina.

You know, personally I think it's a fascinating story, but we really need to use caution here when commenting on true-life cases. This is a public forum, and we don't ever want to come across as celebrating real life sexual violence. This isn't a movie, these were real women and what happened to them is a tragedy, albeit a tragedy with a surprisingly happy ending. That's what makes it a newsworthy story, because what happened seldom ever ends up with the victim being rescued.

Now when this story inevitably gets made into a movie, then we can get excited. Certainly, the material has the potential to quite enticing.

El Wananchi wrote:

No, you could rape them, at least if you were part of the Holy Inquisition whose job it was to persuade witches to confess. Let me quote from Bella - The Devil is in Her! by A.L. Fielden, which shall forever remain the supreme authority on the subject, since it's such an incredibly good story.

Bella is being cleaned up before she is to raped and the man explains what's going to happen to her.

"You'll soon be filled with plenty of 'oly seed to 'elp drive out the Devil, girlie."

See, it all makes sense. It's the holy seed that will drive away the devil! But frankly, any reason will do to justify raping her. In fact, we don't really need a reason other than we're male and she's a female. Works for me.

Right now, the facts in the former are still yet to be fully disclosed, and that won't come until trial. Suffice to say, this creep will get so much time that he'll never get out of prison-just like Jaycee Dugard's kidnapper. I never thought I would see some of these images again (from The Pick-up, for example), and the dramatic re-enactments done by Amy, Jac, and company are phenomenal.

Here's a possible scene/challenge for Amy: a woman's feet, particularly her soles, are quite sensitive and so offer a strategic site for torture. Fire, bastinado, spikes have all been used, and Esmeralda, one of literature's renown GIMPs, quite dramatically suffered the torture of the boot (dramatically re-enacted by Gina Lollabrigida, Leslie-Anne Down, and Salma Hayek). And Amy, you took pride in your ability to stand on the spikes in Maleficarum. Would you consider testing your soles somewhat more systematically and rigorously in an forthcoming film?

Hi all,

Yik Yakker, you re missing the point. It is not a question of whether it is contrary to the procedure, even sinful... those people were deeply superstitious, and I am sure that they believed that raping a witch would bring unfathomable malady, disgrace and bad luck (not to say impotency and sterility!). Not to say that most people were honestly worried about afterlife, in that superstitious way, therefore, prone to pay attention to what may appear to us petty regulations and small sinful actions, and continue with the mayhem.

Ralphus, you are citing as an authority a fiction writer (however a good one)? A fiction writer in this site? Someone who, of course, is imbedded in the BDSM tradition, and, as the filmmakers and artists, is "working for a public"? Eh... not my idea of a source for a light historical discussion, however undeniably good his stories might be.

A young woman was restrained, force-fed and injected with cosmetics in a high street shop window as part of a hard-hitting protest against animal testing.

Jacqueline Traide was tortured in front of hundreds of horrified shoppers in a bid to raise awareness and end the practise.

The 24-year-old endured 10 hours of experiments, which included having her hair shaved and irritants squirted in her eyes, as part of a worldwide campaign by Lush Cosmetics and The Humane Society.

The disturbing stunt took place in Lush's Regent Street store, one of the UK's busiest shopping streets.

Jacqueline appeared genuinely terrified as she was pinned down on a bench and had her mouth stretched open with two metal hooks while a man in a white coat force-fed her until she choked and gagged.

The artist was also injected with numerous needles, had her skin braised and lotions and creams smeared across her face.

Passers-by were gobsmacked to see Jacqueline, a social sculpture student at Oxford Brookes University, forced to have a section of her head shaved.

The gruesome spectacle aimed to highlight the cruelty inflicted on animals during cosmetic laboratory tests and raise awareness that animal testing is still a common practise.

The Humane Society International and Lush Cosmetics have joined forces to launch the largest-ever global campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics.

The campaign, launched to coincide with World Week for Animals in Laboratories, is being rolled out simultaneously in over 700 Lush Ltd shops across forty-seven countries including the United States, Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Russia.

Lush campaign manager Tamsin Omond said: "The ironic thing is that if it was a beagle in the window and we were doing all these things to it, we'd have the police and RSPCA here in minutes.

"But somewhere in the world, this kind of thing is happening to an animal every few seconds on average.

"The difference is, it's normally hidden. We need to remind people it is still going on."

Something a bit different from the minds over at Mood Pictures.

They staged a re-mix of the old Milgram Experiment in human psychology, except that they used real whips instead of fake electric shocks. The women receiving the abuse were in on the experiment - they agreed to be the "student" and be punished, to see how far the other girl - the "teacher" would go.

This is real "GIMP", but with a twist. The reactions of the "teachers" as the punishment escalates is some fantastic drama, if not a bit disturbing. Like "Faces of Death", you can't help but hit rewind and watch it again just so you can be disgusted all over again.

I once wrote a BDSM story based on the Milgram concept. You can read it here:

Three people gave it 9 out of 10 stars, so at least there are 3 intelligent people over there. :)

Perhaps some day I'll go back and improve it.

DHT: Interesting story, thanks for sharing. I applaud the tactics of that company and others like them, the most obvious example being PETA, for taking a stand against inhumane treatment of animals. A lot of people are put off when they use outrageous tactics like using nude women in their demonstrations, but it gets the message across. Animals can't speak for themselves so I'm glad someone is on their side.

I also don't mind the imagery of seeing young women chained and abused, either. Nice eye candy.

Thomas Chaser: I liked your story a lot. You're quite a fine writer, I was impressed. It was cool how the professor kept taking it further and further and he always had a perfectly logical reason to justify it. I want to get a job like that! The story peaked for me about 2/3 of the way through, mainly just because the last part isn't quite my thing. Overall though, a great read. Lots of torture-riffic fun.

Mood Pictures is a studio based out of Hungary that specializes in films involving corporal punishment. Unlike the typical "tie them up and beat them" clips that are readily apparent from various other providers, Mood adds a theatrical touch to their work. For example, some clips try to tell a story of revenge, or a secret society where women are beaten as property. Others involve a game or contest between women to see who can take the most blows. This is the first film they've done where there has been no script, and as a plot it works better than anything else they've put out.

In The Milgram Experiment, Mood Pictures replicates the work of Dr. Stanley Milgram, a Yale college professor who set up a psychological experiment to see if a normal person, under the supervision of an authority figure, would perform inhumane acts of cruelty on another human being. His hypothesis was that, beneath the fašade of societal chivalry, there beats a savage heart in all of us. To prove this, Dr. Milgram designed an experiment involving two individuals - one deemed a "teacher" and the other the "student" - who were told that the experiment was to see if mild physical discomfort would improve behavioral results. To wit, if the student gave a wrong answer on a memory game quiz, he would be shocked. In the Yale case, the student was an actor pretending to be shocked. The real experiment was to see if the teacher, if absolved of guilt, would push a button that caused the student pain.

Of course, this is Mood Pictures, and the pain isn't faked. In this film, Dr. Milgram is replaced with "Dr. Lomp", the alias for the Mood Pictures director. The "teacher" is a young woman who thinks she has come to participate in the classic Milgram set-up as part of a science project. However, the "student" is a Mood Pictures model who has agreed to be whipped for real. What the student doesn't know is how long the teacher will order her to be beaten, and the student will indeed continue to be beaten for as long as the teacher orders it. So, there's drama on both sides of the equation - how long can the student handle the beatings, and how long will the teacher continue to order her to be beaten?

Sounds great, right?

Absolutely brilliant.

The test is a word-association memory game. The teacher is seated at a desk in a small room - the "classroom" - and given a sheet of paper with the pairs of words, along with a graph showing the number of strokes the student will receive for each wrong answer. One wrong answer gets one stroke of the whip. The second wrong answer gets two strokes. The third wrong answer gets three strokes. After the fifth wrong answer, the number of strokes ramps up significantly - five, then ten, then fifteen, then twenty, then twenty five, then fifty.

A wall with a glass window separates the classroom from the "execution room", a large room in which the student-victim is bound spread-eagle to a metal frame, facing the teacher, that has a chain-link fence attached to it. I, personally, love this touch, because when the student is struck with the whip, she is driven onto the chain link fence, which makes for some wonderful theatrics as her body impacts the metal. Also in the room is the "executor", the woman who will be doing the whipping. In this way, the teacher is not only physically separated from victim, but she technically isn't doing the whipping either. She's simply following the instructions on the sheet of paper. The importance of this comes up later, as you'll see.

A set of speakers allows the teacher to hear everything that goes on in the execution room, but the student will only hear what goes on in the classroom if the teacher presses the intercom button. This allows the teacher to have some private dialogue with a lab-coated assistant stationed in the classroom, who is there to make sure the teacher fulfills her duties. I thought this was brilliant, because it creates a physical separation of the teacher from her victim. The student doesn't know what's being said unless the teacher wants her to know, and, from the teacher's perspective, it gives her an elevated sense of social position over her victim. This contributes to the teacher's sense of power, and we all know what absolute power does. That's why we watch these types of films in the first place!

Another contributing factor to the teacher's sense of power is that the student will only be struck the number of times that the teacher says, and the teacher must count the stroke before it is given. For example, if the victim is to receive ten strokes, the teacher must say each stroke's number before it is given. In this way, the teacher controls the executor who delivers the strike. This puts the teacher in total control over the experiment.

Can you sense the drama yet?

The first trial is between "Zita Berger", a slender yet fetching Mood Pictures model seen here in the pink top, and "Lora Wenter", the unsuspecting teacher in the black on the left.

Each girl is asked to sign a contract. As they review the terms of the experiment, they make small talk and Lora asks Zita why she signed up for it, with the risks involved. Zita brushes it off, but Lora admits that, even though she doesn't know if she'll be the teacher or the student and that there's a chance she might be whipped, she is excited to be a part of the project. Foreshadowing of a future sequel perhaps?

Dr. Lomp returns, collects the contracts, and hands each girl an envelope. Lora is asked to open hers first. It reads "TEACHER" (both envelopes read the same thing, but the mark is always asked to open hers first so that she is always the teacher), and so she will be giving the questions and Zita will be the one trying to give the answers.

Lora is introduced to the classroom, given a set of papers with the questions on it and the chart showing the number of strokes to be given each time her student gives a wrong answer. The lab assistant takes a seat beside Lora, to observe her during the trial. Zita is brought in and shown the frame and told that she will be bound to it and whipped. Lora, of course, hears the instructions given to her victim and smiles with anticipation. Both girls are then asked if they are ready. Lora acknowledges that she is and Zita is told to remove her top, assisted by the executor who will administer the whipping at Lora's command. As her student is bound to the frame, Lora watches, fascinated.

Lora then taunts Zita, and is reprimanded by the lab assistant for not taking the experiment seriously. She is told to stay focused on the experiment at all times.

The test begins.

Lora tells Zita to pay close attention and reads the word-pairs, then recites a word at random. Zita misses it and receives one stroke. Lora, in her teacher role, scolds Zita for not paying closer attention. Lora then reads another word, which Zita misses. Again Lora scolds her for being a poor student, and orders Zita to be whipped. That is followed by another missed answer, and another whipping. With each mistake, Lora chastises her student for not paying attention, and then she instructs the executor to administer the punishment.

Lora, at first, finds the initial whippings to be amusing, but as the test goes on, she becomes concerned by Zita's cries and the number of strokes. The lab assistant reminds her of the importance of the experiment and tells her to continue. Lora does. But after a while, after Zita receives a fair number of whippings, Lora is ready to quit. The lab assistant reminds her that she's got to go on "for the sake of the experiment", but Lora is reluctant. The lab assistant then offers Lora an alternative. Rather than administer the blows to Zita's bare back, Lora can instruct the executor to strip off the remainder of Zita's clothing so that she can receive the blows on her bare ass instead. In this way, Zita can continue to be whipped and the experiment can continue to its final conclusion. Lora considers this offer and, not seeing any other options, tells the executioner to remove Zita's clothing and apply the strokes to Zita's bottom instead. Zita's skirt is then cut away, followed by her panties, leaving her completely naked in front of her tormentor.

Lora is clearly disturbed by this development. Her internal struggle is readily apparent. She doesn't want to go on, but the experiment is important. She even signed a contract for it, after all, and we know how important those are. We've all been told that you never break a contract, right? After the executioner has tossed the discarded clothing away and is ready to whip the helpless victim, Lora is asked to confirm the number of strokes to be administered as punishment for Zita's failure to remember the correct word-match.

Does Lora give the word? Does she order Zita to be whipped? Can Zita bear up under the brutal punishment she is receiving? This, friends, is what makes this film GIMP-worthy. Zita is most definitely a Girl In Merciless Peril, and the only person that can save her is Lora, who is wrestling with her own demons.

Lora makes her decision.

Perhaps there is something to the cover story. Perhaps pain does freshen the mind and loosen the tongue, because after her whipping, Zita manages to answer the next few questions correctly. But, with each question, Lora is about to fall apart. She knows that one wrong answer will subject Zita to a painful whipping. Even though Zita is on a roll and is not being whipped, the tension keeps getting higher, because Lora knows it is just a matter of time. Sure enough, just when you think the trial will end successfully, Zita gets the match wrong. Lora consults the chart and sees the number of strokes Zita is to receive. Lora looks like she is about to vomit. But there is no choice. The experiment must continue. The lab assistant tells her to move to the next step. The experiment is too important to stop now, and there is the contract to consider. Lora looks through the glass at her victim and tells her the number of strokes she will receive. Zita, obviously frightened, begs for mercy.

I won't tell you what happens next, but trust me when I tell you that it is pretty hot if you're into GIMP stuff involving whips and canes.

What makes this opening segment so fascinating is the interplay between Lora and Zita. Lora, initially amused by Zita's helplessness, quickly finds herself going deeper into her psyche than she wants. She is clearly torn between her compassion for Zita, and her conditioned obedience to authority. Nobody is forcing Lora to order Zita to be whipped, yet Lora feels the pressure to conform to the needs of the institution - represented by the experiment's instructions and the lab assistant's supervision. She instinctively does as she is told. Even if you strip away the pornographic aspect of this film, there is still value in the piece as a very vivid example of human psychology. That alone raises this film head and shoulders above anything else Mood Pictures (or any other porn studio for that matter) has produced.

The next trial involves a plump, soft-skinned red-headed model as the student and a skinny small-breasted girl as the teacher. I didn't find this trial to be nearly as exciting as the first one, mostly because I didn't find either girl to be particularly attractive. However, something unusual does happen. At the end, the skinny teacher-girl regrets what she has done and wishes it had been her to receive the punishment instead. So, Dr. Lomp makes her an offer, which brings us to the third trial.

The slender small-breasted girl is now the student and a fetchingly attractive brunette is the teacher. It doesn't take long for the brunette teacher to become concerned for the welfare of her student, and the trial ends before very long. Most of the interest in this part is mental, knowing that the student was once the teacher.

Which brings us to the final trial that ends the film with the same dramatic bang that started it.

I normally don't like bad dye jobs, but the model playing the student in the final clip is just so strikingly beautiful that her "bad hair day" is negated.

After being told how the intercom works, the girl playing the teacher reviews the data sheet and notices that 50 strokes is the maximum to be given. She wonders if the student can handle that many, then cattily comments, "She is a little conceited." This gives the trial a "revenge" undertone, that somehow the student isn't a nice person and should suffer at least a few whacks to bring her in line.

Once the student is bound to the frame, she gives her student some advice before reading the word-pairs, and then the fun begins.

What makes this trial so interesting is that, when it was over, the girl playing the teacher refused to give her consent to the filming, so Mood Pictures blurred out her face. For me, this makes it even more "real", because now it looks like so many of those news videos that are broadcast about criminals, which then reminds me of Milgram's original thesis of normal people performing evil if done under the guidance of an authority figure. Sort of like the Nazi guards herding victims into the gas chambers at concentration camps. Or Gitmo guards performing waterboarding. When you start to consider the clinical applications of this movie in real-life events, it starts to mess with your mind.

Like the first clip, the beating goes on for quite some time, eventually getting to the point that the model's reactions cause the teacher to consider quitting. However, the lab assistant convinces her that, while the student is suffering terribly, she is fully capable of continuing the experiment and that it should go on. The beatings continue a bit longer before the teacher tries to quit again. As in the first trial, the teacher is told that the victim is capable of continuing with the experiment, but nonetheless the teacher has the option of allowing the student to receive canings to her ass instead of whippings to her back, with the assurance that it will make things easier on the victim and enable the experiment to continue. The teacher quickly agrees and informs the executioner to strip her student completely.

What makes this act so chilling is the teacher's words to her student.

The teacher is thoroughly convinced that stripping her victim completely, humiliating her, is for the best, that somehow the victim has brought this on herself for failing to answer correctly. To the teacher, there is no alternative but to strip her so that the executioner can damage fresh skin. The lab assistant, as the authority figure, has convinced the girl playing the teacher that she can't quit, the experiment is too important, that Dr. Lomp will take responsibility, that nobody forced the victim to participate in the experiment, and that the teacher is simply following orders. Each of these are classic blame-shifting techniques in human psychology. "I was only a camp guard", "I was only following orders", "I was not in charge". How many times have we heard these at war crimes trials? So, the teacher is convinced that she won't be blamed, that somehow she is innocent of any sin being committed. In this way, the assistant has completely removed any sense of humanity from the teacher. It is this level of evil that makes this film so compelling. You wish it wasn't possible, yet here is a completely normal person ordering a fellow human being, who has committed no crime other than to fail to remember a word-game, to be whipped severely, and then to be stripped so that she can suffer further beatings. I find this shocking, but at the same time I can't look away. I want to see how far the teacher will go. I want to know how badly the student will suffer, and how far down the teacher's humanity has been suppressed. Has she been fully inculcated into the experiment's mindset? Indeed she has. She even gives her student a moment's break to recover during one long session, so that the number of prescribed canings can continue.

The student, for her part, has an incredible pain threshold, because she's caned for quite a long while, until finally?

Well, you'll just have to watch it.

The biggest sex organ on the human body is the brain, and this film hits all the right nerve centers.

For creativity, I give it a solid "A".

For execution, another solid "A".

For casting, another solid "A". The girls in the first and fourth trials carry the entire film, but the second and third trials, while not as visually pleasing, are interesting at an intellectual level. I'm hoping that Mood Pictures will come out with a sequel, using some of their more fetching models. This film's premise could easily be replicated many times over, and hopefully Mood will do just that.

Overall score, with three A's, I give it an A+. This film deserves to be turned into a series, if not by Mood Pictures, then by another studio who is willing to push the limits of human decency.

Thomas Chaser: Excellent job on the review of the The Milgram Experiment.

Putting aside the troubling aspects of the real-life version of this experiment, I have to say this film has definitely got my attention. It's outside of the realm of stuff I might normally seek but there's something about it that makes me think it might ring my bell. And it's not every day a film gets an A+. I enjoyed the review and appreciate you putting it together for us.

Thomas Chaser: Thanks so much for taking the time to review the new Mood Pictures video for us. You obviously liked this enough to give such a detailed description about why this movie worked for you, and I agree the concept is intriguing. Mood Pictures and companies like them certainly have their fans, and watching real abuse can be a turn-on. For me, it's the casting on this one that might steer me away from it. Personally, I'd pay to see the Christina Ricci look-alike playing the lab assistant (in the second picture) tied up and given 25 strokes instead. Ironically, she appears to be the only woman in the movie who escapes unscathed. Too bad. Maybe they'll cast her in their next picture.

Ralphus - thanks for helping me get my coding right, and for hosting the images.

A Canadian - thanks for the endorsement! My sentiments were the same as yours. The film isn't something I would normally get, but there was something about it that intrigued me. The "reality TV" aspect, I suppose. It's one of the few unscripted GIMP-type movies I've come across. In fact, thinking about it, it's about the only one!

I'd love to see Max Coxxx attempt something like this with some of his girls, but I doubt he could find any that would be up for the challenge. American models seem to want to know exactly what will be done to them before they agree to something, and certainly the open-ended aspect of the experiment makes it a bit risky for them. The use of a safe word, or a safe act (such as faking passing out) would reduce some of that risk, but it might reduce some of the dramatic tension as well.

I like the noise they make when they first hit the hot oil. A scream followed by a sizzling sound. And when you pop 'em out, they're crispy and hot on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

And they say we don't like women on this forum. Totally untrue. We love 'em. They're delicious.

Those were both excellent artworks you posted. I never see B-Movie's work anymore since he abandoned his Yahoo groups several months ago. Obviously, he's still cranking them out on some other site somewhere. I like his work a lot; I've posted a number of them at the top of the site as the daily picture in the past.

And Sir Steven does some incredible work, all of it fire and burning related. He's one of the best manipulators out there. Great stuff.

"Crispy and hot on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside." True but it's matter of taste in gimp cooking peril to me and completely nude sweaty spit roasted barbecued gimps with the flames licking at her hot sizzling body is more eroticly visually appealing compared to dipping in hot boiling batter which you can't see them especially head first cooking.

Ralphus, I was for sure you knew Pete Longstreet moved to:

I'm sure I have some girls who would be caned or whipped. I've full blasted several of them with the cow prod, something bans their directors from doing. Or the time I hung that girl...

But ya, I can totally shoot anything the law will allow. But when that starts to quantify, the customs customers go with less expensive options. Like anal for example. We can shoot it but that 1 scene would be all we could get with that model that day. If she is local, great. But if we are flying her in, that 1 whole day for 1 scene is a giant loss of potential. Marks are going to be a similar consideration. So, it can be done. I just don't make enough to back something like that.

Thomas Chaser: Thanks for reviewing The Milgram Experiment for us. That was a nice, detailed description and the caps were very helpful.

I don't want to get started on a rant about this famous (or infamous) experiment, but suffice it to say that the set up and performances must work extremely well to make this come off with any kind of credibility. It's clear from your review that you were pleased with the way this was handled.

I'm always interested in good whipping scenes, so I may check this one out.

I kinda like scenes with naked girls strapped to lab this one from Covers.

Max - thanks for the honest answer. It's a shame you don't have the means to replicate the Milgram Experiment, but perhaps you may get lucky some time and surprise us all.

YikYakker, the whippings are extremely well done. In my opinion, the "executioner" does a good job of keeping each stroke hard enough to be painful, but not hard enough to break skin (although that does happen as the sessions go on). She really drives the single-tail whip into her target for a good reaction. Mood Pictures doesn't fake a whipping, and occassionally their work can get a little too bloody for my taste. This film does a good job at finding that "sweet spot" between "good torture" and "bad torture". What makes it so gripping is that nobody is forcing the teacher to order the victim to be whipped except for her own personal devotion to institutional control. And, of course, the reactions of both the teacher and the student are honest and real. You really are watching a "normal person" slip into an evil detachment from her own moral code. It's fascinating to watch.

Really? I hadn't heard that about Kink. I thought these guys were so big they could get away with anything, as long as they make damn sure everybody knows the model

1) Totally consents to whatever treatment she's getting

2) Truly loved every minute of it, came 25 times and OF COURSE she would come back and shoot with them again.

No cattle prods, huh? What else do they not allow over at Kink? And do you know why not? I love hearing insider information about bondage shoots.

You know, now that you mention it, she *does* have that Wednesday Addams look to her. I suppose that's what makes the classroom scenes so creepy. She's sitting there, giving the teacher the stink-eye, as if saying "You will do this, or else!" In the film, you'll see a cold, detached quality to her, particularly at the end when the full horror of what has happened is revealed. So if you like psychological horror, she's your girl! You just know she's going to give you the greatest sexual experience of your life, and then decapitate you praying mantis style.

Like most others here I am a big fan of Red Feline and am enthusiastic over their new found "main stream" success. However, I recently revisited some of the Via Crucis De Camille productions, Seven Days on the Cross, and Aristo Crux - it is a shame that similar efforts may be abandoned while they focus on the main stream effort - if for no other reason than the number of productions will be sufficiently reduced.

The early work had its faults, the production values, the lighting, etc. were primitive compared to what Red Feline is capable of producing now. Yet, for pure GIMP entertainment value, short of the old ZFX productions there is very little to compare it to. I would love to see similar efforts - something that could be produced in a relatively short time with merely the basic plot lines but overflowing with the action that they do so well. I am still waiting for the last installment of Seven Days on the Cross with great anticipation.

Its great to see the leap they are making into the main stream market, but from a purely selfish perspective I miss the production output of the "old days." Just as an aside, the similarity between all Jac's beautiful leading ladies kind of reminds me of John Derek, with Ursula Andress, Linda Evans and Bo - each seemingly a younger version of their predecessor - and all amazing. It has been, and continues to be a joy to watch the continuing evolution of the Red Feline Family.

Texas Chainsaw, the Review

As many of you recall, I waxed eloquent about the virtues of Bereavement as last year's best mainstream GIMP effort. When I discovered that its star, the lovely Alexandra Daddario (and her natural gifts) was going to be in a Chainsaw film I was waiting with baited breath. Well, the wait is over, Texas Chainsaw is now available on video store shelves.

This movie has many things going for it. 1) For the record, Alexandra spends much of the movie running around in outfits like this:

She is knocked out from behind, chased by a chainsaw maniac and even hit by a car. All this while bouncing effervescently. This alone is great gimpage, peril to peril. Great stuff. And for those of us who like seeing the bare waist of our victims this movie is a sensual overload experience. There is even one scene where Alexander is seen from the side, rib cage extending out arms overhead as she hangs from a ferris wheel car trying to elude her tormentor.

The culmination scene is one of the best GIMP scenes of recent mainstream memory. The lovely Alexandra is tied AOH with her shirt ripped open. While we never see the puppies completely (the use of large pieces of tape is the only way this happened). We see some great side boobage and a helpless victim reacting in fear to slow torment.

While she manages to escape...I don't want to give away the fine Oscar quality screenwriting...the scene is long and the images stuck in the memory. I am already willing to give this the mainstream movie of the year award for 2013. After all, this girl is running around in fear dressed like this for a vast majority of it.

Grade A, I'd give it an A+ but it still sadly has some mainstream Hollywood sensitivities...

Elkcreek, thanks for the movie review! I think your rating might be a little generous though. While Ms. Daddario is quite fetching and the production values are very slick, I can't get over one fundamental problem with the whole "psycho killer chasing a hot babe" concept here, and that is that, once he has her and she's been tied up, he doesn't rip her shirt off. I mean, the question isn't "why would he" but rather "why wouldn't he"? In a classic sense, most psycho killers that try to victimize women are motivated by some form of sexual frustration or, at the very least, are driven by a feeling of powerlessness over their desires leading to acting out against the source of that frustration - the sexuality of the female form. It only makes sense then that the victim would be reduced and dehumanized physically by being stripped of her clothing.

The fact that she is not comes off as unbelievable and a cop-out by either the director, the producer, the actress or some combination thereof. And that's a big issue. Its like watching Star Wars and Lucas going "You know what, blowing up the Death Star is going to kill a lot of people. Maybe we'll just have it get pushed away instead." Why get right up to the climax and not follow through? It weakens the story terribly. I'm sure Ms. Daddario is a beautiful woman, but so was the late Lana Clarkson, who turned one of the best GIMP scenes ever (in "Barbarian Queen") and she wasn't afraid to get topless to sell a scene. Because of that fundamental flaw in the story, I wouldn't rate it any higher than a B-minus.

Falstaff, thank you for raising an interesting topic. I remember watching the original Red Feline film and admiring the creative artistry the makers were trying to achieve, tempered by my thoughts of "Damnit, why is the lighting so dark?" And "Shit. She didn't shave her pits." Still, it was a good first effort and the follow-on films showed improvement. The "tortures" were certainly demented and believable, helped by the good acting of Camille.

While the new RF.films are good at storytelling, I do miss the simplicity of the earlier films. They told a basic story and told it fairly well without worrying about getting censored by a film festival committee. The problem with trying to go mainstream is precisely what is seen in "Texas Chainsaw" - trying to appeal to the masses at the expense of the story because the filmmaker tries to cover too wide of a population of viewers. Oh well.

Thomas, in fairness Barbarian Queen was 1985, in the peak of the VHS GIMP heyday. During that era minor stars like Cassandra Delaney, Jo Ann Harris, Debra Truffaut, even Diane Lane did topless GIMP scenes. Now it's rare to see even TV level minor stars like Harris do topless, much less Gimp.

I can't think of the last topless American mainstream gimp scene. (While Sara Butler was topless after the assault in I Spit on Your Grave, she wasn't topless during the assault) So to me the standards are different. For the record Alexandra Daddario even not topless still gets old Peter standing at attention. And the reality is the advantages of mainstream, better production values, more attractive actresses, and actresses that do a better job of selling it still stands.

While there are exceptions in the porn world and I consider Red Feline mainstream, just not Hollywood mainstream, for the most part many of the non mainstream stuff have serious production value issues, and IMO don't sell it as well. Would I love to see us go back to the glory days of the mid 80s with a new mainstream gimp flick our every week? Of course, but in the meantime to see an actress with the mainstream recognition of an Alexandra Daddario do two gimp scenes in a year is something worth celebrating.

Elkcreek, you raise an interesting point. Why *don't* we see more GIMP in mainstream films now? Twenty-five years since "Barbarian Queen" and GIMP-sploitation has actually regressed? I would think nudity wouldn't be such a hot issue in film, what with TV shows like "Spartacus" and "Game of Thrones" pushing the boundaries of nudity on television every week.

I know the reason "Texas Chainsaw" didn't use nudity is because the producers were afraid of the MPAA. Even in its original cut, it got the dreaded NC-17 rating until they cut back on the gore and reshot scenes. I look at a film like the recent "Iron Man 3", with Gwyneth Paltrow stripped down to jogbra and capri yoga pants. Really? You're an evil scientist and you're going to let your medical hostage keep her clothes on instead of stripping her down to make it easier to handle her?

"Spartacus" had nudity every single episode (I say "had" because the final season just ended). Is the problem that major studios aim for such a large demographic that they have to keep their pictures between PG and R? Or is this a case of there not being any B-movie studios willing to put out cheesy films that use sexploitation as a marketing tactic? Could the Golden Age of Roger Corman have left a huge power vacuum in the world of GIMP films?

Just speaking theoretically, I can't help but wonder if entertainment on the whole is going through a power shift of some sort, as in-home VOD and Internet television open up new avenues previously utilized by cable TV and VCR rentals. Most of the innovation I'm seeing in the way of entertainment product ("The Walking Dead", "Spartacus", "Game of Thrones", and "Revolution" for example) are coming from the cable TV segment as they fight for market share. I haven't seen an original film concept or technique since "300" and "Sin City" brought graphic action via digital cameras, and they had their roots in graphic novels. Where have all the film visionaries gone?

Elkcreek: Thanks, very nice review of Texas Chainsaw. Like you, I'm particularly smitten with the lovely and sexy Alexandra Daddario and welcome the concept of casting her in a Chainsaw movie. I've already added this to my Netflix queue.

The direct link to your latest review is in my Homepage URL above.

Why aren't there more naked GIMP scenes in movies today? This is the age-old issue we've been going over and discussing here for quite some time. Let's use this latest Chainsaw movie as an example. Why wasn't Alexandra Daddario naked and in bondage in this one? There's a few reasons to begin with. Maybe she won't do nudity. Mr. Skin has her listed as having no nude scenes in her career. Hard to believe there's a young actress out there who might make a moral choice like that, but maybe she really is a wholesome girl. She's one of the very few young actresses in Hollywood who doesn't smoke cigarettes, for instance. That's part of why so many guys are nutso over her; she's sexy as hell but still has that innocent girl next door appeal.

Secondly, do any of the Chainsaw movies have nudity? I haven't seen them all, but I know the original, classic Tobe Hooper original did not. And this was made in the mid-1970s, an era where nudity in horror films was not only prominent, it was practically required. Most if not all of the Chainsaw films have bondage scenes, but I can't think of any of the sequels that show bare skin. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thirdly, I'm of the opinion that nudity in films today makes people uncomfortable, and that's why producers mainly shy away from it. Same with rape scenes, in fact, more so with rape scenes. If you look at the history of cinema, it wasn't until the late 1960s and early 1970s that filmmakers finally got the freedom, with the new ratings system, to go all out and film nude women and sexual situations. And they did it a lot. But after a few decades, it sort of lost its luster and mere nudity could no longer guarantee a big box office. The highly touted film Showgirls was actually a flop in theaters; people largely stayed away until it hit on video, where they could watch in the safety and the discreet environment of their own homes.

And lastly, and I think this is the main reason why you don't see much nudity today, is the ratings board. They have the power to effectively censor a film by assigning the dreaded NC-17 rating to anything they deem too sexy. Most theaters won't book NC-17 movies, so filmmakers are at their mercy if they want to get their film shown in front of a paying audience. Even a film like the aforementioned I Spit On Your Grave with Sarah Butler, which didn't even much nudity, was still threatened with dozens of cuts if they wanted to secure an R-rating. Ultimately, the filmmakers decided against cutting their film and released it unrated, but that gives you an example of what today's filmmakers are up against. If any of them wanted to go out and make something daring and over-the-top with nudity and rape scenes, chances are they wouldn't pass the MPAA censors board. So the kind of stuff an independent company like Pachamama Films is producing is actually pretty rare in this day and age. You're sure not going to see Maleficarum 2 made in Hollywood any time soon.

A while back a fellow gimper mentioned a film from the 70's called 3 girls and a guy or some such creative title which featured a brunette hung AOH from a tree and whipped topless and a blonde (as I recall) raped with a corncob. I believe it was here that a couple of caps from the whipping scene were posted, but I can't find the information (can't recall how many of which and how many of the other were in the title). Anyone help me with this--and most especially does anyone have caps from the corncob scene. It appears the film itself is lost in the mists of time, but it was capped nicely in at least one of the mags of the time that focused on gimp films. Thanks.

Ralphus, interesting points on why films don't show nudity. The MPAA, playing the guardians of American virtue, have turned us into violence-loving gore fans instead of the nudity-loving culture we secretly long to be. "Iron Man 3", which I pointed to earlier, is a good example. Gun fights, explosions, death, blood, gore, torture... and most of the audience was high school kids. Any wonder why mis-socialized kids turn violent? Yet, thankfully, we do have cable TV, which has exercised more artistic freedom than film. We may not get a big-budget "Maleficarum 2" or even "Maleficarum 3", but imagine the possibility of turning the concept into a short-season television series. :)

petelobo: The name of the movie is A Man, Eight Girls, though I've also seen it referred to as A Man and Eight Girls and Linda. It was released in 1968 and was one of the many "roughies" that came out around that time. I saw this film in a grind house in the mid 1970's and I recall it had two memorable GIMP scenes - both pretty extreme for 1968. One was a lesbian rape involving a corn cob. The other was the whipping scene, which wasn't all that realistic, but it involved a lot of blood and went on for ten or fifteen minutes.

To date, I think this is a lost film. I'm sure Something Weird has been trying to track it down, and I hope that someday they will succeed, as this is at the top of my GIMP nostalgia list. BTW, A Man, Eight Girls is listed in the Whipping Scenes DB, along with two stills of the brunette strung up and flogged by the blonde.

Gog: I've seen some of Women's Camp 119 and it does have at least some torture, nudity and rape. There's a description of a whipping scene in the database (under the alternate title, SS Extermination Camp, to wit:

Two women are stripped, chained up, and whipped as punishment by a commandant. Neither of the women are very attractive, but the scene is rather realistic. The copy I have is terrible, so I can't really tell if the whip marks are any good or not.

I watched it up to the point where two women are chained up and raped by two Nazis, but did not go any further because I couldn't stand the horrible dubbing. Also, in the aforementioned double rape scene, a very plain-looking female commander actually "coaches" the men on how to execute their ravaging activity, speaking in a monotone and refusing to shut up and just let the guys fuck. Very annoying. For some reason, a lot of European movie-makers of that era felt that you should not have long stretches without dialog, so the movies are often characterized by oral diarrhea (I know, gross).

That's the only thing I remember from what I saw, and it's not a pleasant memory. Maybe others can tell you more.

Been a lurker for awhile now, but I agree with all of you that think that it is unfortunate that there are not very many "true" GIMP scenes that appear in mainstream movies anymore, particularly when it comes to the attackers partially stripping their victims but suddenly stopping before anything is exposed.

On a different note, are there any scenes found in "mainstream" movies that you thought looked like they were the start of a promising GIMP scene, only to be let down when ultimately nothing really happened to the victim?

The first time that I saw A Clockwork Orange, when Billy Boy and his gang had captured that girl, I thought that it was going to be the beginning of an interesting GIMP scene, but, of course, Alex and his gang showed up, allowing the girl to escape.

Other scenes that looked promising but left you disappointed?

It's not easy running a large manor. For one thing, you have to hire servants to maintain it, and good help is hard to find. Fortunately, the mistress of the manor in Mood Pictures' Unquestioning Obedience has a solution. First, she pays her staff well, and second, she's not afraid to use corporal punishment to keep them in line. And, like all efficient operations, she has a Human Resources manager (Jessica Lee, seen here conducting a job interview) to handle all of her labor issues for her.

Two new applicants are brought in to meet their new mistress and the rest of the staff. The mistress gives them a cursory review and hires them on the spot, then informs them of the house rules. One key rule to always remember: the two stable girls (with crops) can punish the rest of the staff at their discretion, for any infraction. The staff must also obey the orders of the mistress' husband (he comes along later). To show the two new girls what "unquestioning obedience" means, one of the stable girls, Edith, is ordered to demonstrate the proper punishment position.

She is then whipped as an example for the others.

Next the girls are shown to their quarters by the two stable girls and forced to strip. The head stable girl accuses the four servants of deliberately conspiring to put Edith, the stable girl that had been whipped, in such a humiliating position. To atone for their transgressions, the four servants are forced to bend over their beds, where they are whipped for their insolence.

One servant - a house maid - gets more punishment than the others.

Ok, now I have to admit that, of the four servants, only two really make me go "Oh, mama". One of them is the young teen (Judith Gretto) that gets examined at the beginning of the film, and the other one is this woman (Alisson Sew), who quite possibly has the most voluptuous body in the Mood Productions stable. She's the total package; full breasts, narrow waist, and full hips and ass. Classic proportions. Topping it off is a very beautiful face and two beautiful blue eyes. It really doesn't get any better than that. Really. Fortunately, she gets plenty of screen time. Or rather, "scream time". Because no sooner have we been introduced to her than she's tied over the end of her bed and whipped, for no particular reason other than she's totally hot. Do you really need a better reason than that?

Actually, you do.

As it turns out, the stable girls were targeting her specifically, because they felt she was the most likely threat to replace them in their mistress' hierarchy. So, she gets caned to keep her in line.

Those marks are real. And this is early on. There's thirty more after this one.

After the stable girls have exacted their revenge, the scene changes to the stable, where the two blondes in the brown aprons are busy shuffling straw. During their work, the new girl asks the taller one about the husband. Some disparaging remarks are made and the husband charges in and accuses the two girls of besmirching his good name. So, he orders them to strip, and then he has them bend over against the wall for some correction, Mood Pictures style.

I think their expressions pretty much sum up how things work at the manor.

Lots of screaming. Lots of trembling. Lots of fear. And definitely lots of pain. This will test your constitution. I really thought I was going to see one of them lose her bladder from the trauma. It's pretty intense stuff.

After this, the new girl (Gretto) comes to the mistress and confesses that she accidentally broke a plate, hoping, perhaps, for some leniency in her punishment. Well, surprisingly, she gets it. The mistress orders her to receive one cane stroke. But, before she can receive it, there's a knock at the door. It's Allison Sew - the voluptuous one - come to discuss things with the mistress. She's told that the mistress was thinking of promoting her (apparently the stable girls' fears are correct) and as part of her promotion, the mistress wants to see her strike a lower servant. So, she gives the new girl a whack. The mistress isn't pleased and thinks she needs to strike harder. That's when the shit hits the fan. The mistress notices that the house maid is marked with cane strokes and asks her where they came from and why.

Now folks, I want to take a second here to point something out. Take a good look at the maid. Doesn't she look a little familiar?

Not that I fantasized about Lynda Carter in my teen years or anything.

Moving on.

The mistress calls for Edith to come in and answer to the charges. Well, the mistress doesn't like what she hears and poor Edith not only gets reduced in rank, she has to be punished for her treachery. And her old friend is the one that gets to do her up.

Edith is bent over the "punishment frame" - a wooden bar used for the most severe of whippings - and subjected to some pretty strong stuff. Things get a bit bloody at the manor from time to time. But, I suppose if you truly love your job, that's all that really matters.

Life continues at the manor without incident for a while after that, until just before the servants' contracts are about to expire. The head stable girl decides to confront the servants in their quarters and get some answers. Gretto and the other maid decide they want to leave. Well, you don't just walk out of the manor. You get beat out. As in whipped. So, Gretto is bent over the punishment stand, where she receives her lashes. I have to admit, she bears up well to the pain.

After the two maids are excused from their service, the movie ends with the HR manager interviewing a new girl to fill the vacancies. Nothing happens at the interview, other than to suggest that life goes on as always on Mistress Angie Vicious' estate.

Overall, I thought the movie was fair on plot. You really aren't going to be on the edge of your seat with this, but there's enough there to keep you engaged with what's going on. Wonder Woman, I mean Alisson Sew, is enjoyable to watch, and Judith Gretto and "Miss Prince" (who played Edith) look good naked. I particularly am impressed with Miss Prince, who can play both the domineering guard and the helpless victim with equal talent. And did I mention that she looks good naked? Well, she does. The other girls in the film are attractive enough and the whippings will certainly get your attention.

As far as perilous situations go, there aren't many. There really is no chance for a girl to escape her torture. All she can do is suffer through it to the end, which is what they do. If you're into whipping and caning, this is good stuff. You'll certainly enjoy it that way, particularly as a package deal with The Milgram Experiment, which has a much stronger Girl In Merciless Peril flavor to it than this film. Buy both, save yourself some money, and you're bound to enjoy at least one of them.

Overall, I give the casting an "A" since all of the girls are attractive and take their beatings like troopers. The camerawork and editing get an "A" as well. The plot is only average at best, so call it a "C". Runtime is about an hour, which is good, and there are enough scene changes to keep things from getting boring. Balance it all out and you get a B+, so that's what I'm going with.

Donny: A great thing about a film like A Clockwork Orange is that when you mention the rape scene, people will have to ask, "Which one?"

While I liked the scene where Billy Boy and his droogs are about to perform a bit of the old "in-out, in-out" on a weepy young devotchka, it should have gone on longer, like you mentioned. Basically, all you get is some stripping and group groping before Alex arrives and she runs away. The fact it occurred right near the beginning of the movie was nice foreplay for the real best scene in the movie, which is, of course, the "Singing in the Rain" sequence with Adrienne Corri.

That scene is still legendary, it's the reason the film is famous today, and it's also quite possibly is the best mainstream GIMP scene of all time. It influenced Rick Masters and probably many more bondage filmmakers, and it definitely had an effect on me. Seeing that movie as an impressionable 17-year old pretty much blew me away and changed me for life. That was the day I officially became a pervert.

Nice to see the reviews of the Mood Pictures options, but they have the limitation that all the whipping is done on the back and butt. That's swell, but there are MUCH better places to go after if you like what differentiates women from men!

The Mood sister sites and provide the same combination of some very attractive women, excellent production values, few-holds-barred punishment, nudity and minimal plotting (but more than, say Kink) AND they work on breasts, bellies, pussies and thighs as well as the parts dealt with by Mood. They range from one-girl epics like The Journalist (girl can take an amazing amount of pain), Two Girls in Pain to multiple women. All are downloadable and priced quite reasonably. A package of 2 "In Private" one-girl films from costs U$38 for nearly two hours. The girls are both spectacular. Single vids run from about $15-20. The site allows you to see caps and trailers of each of the movies.

These may be a bit over-the-top for some of our lighter brethren--or for someone who's not a fan of serious whipping with marks. There's been a recent addition of electricity, and there are occasional bursts of needles, etc., which is not my cup of T(orture), but the site indicates what techniques are used in each vid. Best of all? Not a "forced orgasm" in the whole lot!!!

Ralphus: Very good points about that scene with Billy Boy being a good introduction to what was to come later in the movie, and I agree with you.

A Canadian: I completely agree with you.

One of the things that I have noticed is that some of you seem to prefer older GIMP scenes. Aside from the fact that more older GIMP scenes included nudity, do at least some of you prefer older GIMP scenes because they didn't focus on the gore quite as much as newer GIMP scenes?

For example, one of the favorites here is Johanna Brushay in the movie Don't Go In The House, which has the classic burning scene. One of the main things is that this scene didn't focus so much on the actual burning of the victim's body as much as it showed her body being covered in fire, but overall not very gory:

On the other hand, newer burning scenes, like the one from Saw 3D seem to emphasis the actual burning itself, as opposed to simply covering the victim's body with fire:

Does anyone else like the older GIMP scenes because they were slightly less focused on the actual gore itself?

You can certainly put me in that camp. In general, I think GIMP scenes from "mainstream" movies of the drive-in/grindhouse type not only included nudity...they wallowed in it. Newer movies that lack nudity in the GIMP scenes seem to increase the gore factor to compensate for it. Or perhaps the gore is part of a strategy to get an "R" rating. Well that and saying "fuck" a million times; it's funny how many times you hear the word fuck in these movies without any one actually doing it, at least not the nonconsensual kind. I'm probably just being a grumpy old codger, but I miss the days when you could go to your local theatre and watch a trio of girls get stripped, gagged and cuffed instead of getting their arteries severed.

Tell ya what, guys: I've got two reviews in the hopper, but as soon as I finish those, I will bump up A Clockwork Orange to "next"on my viewing list.

BTW, I noticed that in the XIII years this site has been operating no one has done a review of this movie.

Geez, talk about jeopardizing one's GIMP license. I'm surprised this place hasn't been shut down.

Hello Gimpers:

Just a brief note informing all that I anticipate closing down my site,, probably within the next month or two. Expenses as a percentage of earnings are now 65-75%. Worse; now both MasterCard and Visa want a $500 a year charge due to BestBound being a 'high risk' site. Basically blackmailing adult websites out of business.

So if you have any interest in grabbing anything from my site, you better do it soon.

Last month I lost money on my hard goods sale site, This in spite of the fact that I am selling a baker's dozen (13) Hawke DVD titles for $100 plus shipping. A unit cost of just over $8 bucks apiece. Of course, having found entire copies of my titles posted to various free sites (too many to fight or track) you may feel $8 is too high when you can get it stolen and free.

So for those who care, obviously a very small sub-set of readers, you need to grab the dvd's quick. Unless I make a profit next month, boundanddelivered will disappear with no warning.

Clearly the era of the small time producer is over. Only huge production machines like and dungeoncorp, hardtied etc are able to make a profit. You won't see too many small producers anylonger. The business model for web businesses has become much like the old business model, with huge barriers to entry meaning few new producers will emerge. In fact I am one of the last of my 'generation' of same.

So thanx for those who have supported me in the past. Within the next few months I will probably disappear from the web, almost completely

Sadly I could double my income by flipping burgers at Mickey Dee's

The two part post you all were waiting for! - Part I

Well, those who live in the Midwest know what a tornado looks like, am I wrong? If you live in Florida, you are familiar with hurricanes. Ok, I'm looking for a word that describes what's happening in our world right now. Voragine, comes close. It all started some time ago when we found a link to Awesome Scream Queens and found that Amy was named Awesome Scream Queen of The Week. We couldn't be more thrilled.

In addition, Amy was offered to work on a new film: Succubi. It's been already announced: We are very pleased to announce that the great American Scream Queen, Amy Hesketh, will be joining the cast in the new film, Succubi. Amy is well-known in the world-wide horror genre and you can connect with her official Facebook page here Look out in the next issue of Awesome magazine for a special feature on Amy and much more.

Fangoria came out with the famous article about Amy, it's not only an interview, it's actually a feature article, 2 pages and 1 column long, and the ripples of this publication are beginning to reach our Andean mountains.

Somehow we're going viral, well, at least Amy is. It's all happening before the release of Dead But Dreaming. We wonder what's going to happen after that.

That beginning paragraph in the Fangoria article says it all. We're in a very interesting place right now. We're getting contacted by people in the industry, actors of certain level, like one who was part of the cast in Deadwood. It's simply amazing. And it's happening very fast, which brings me to many points that were raised in this very forum, but before I get into that some follow up to previous, a bit older comments.

GuymanSeven asked Does Amy works out in some special routines? Her physique is great! And I hope to see more agent/spy films in the future as I loved Agent X!

Amy has a physical trainer and he played a part in the sequence that was shot for Dead But Dreaming. So, that answers your question. Yes, Amy is working out with a physical trainer, three times a week in a high end Gym. We have a couple of agent/spy films in our future.

Carmen and Vero would be happy to hear what GuymanSeven commented, that the 1996 picture is heavenly, the years have been kind for them. They look as young as ever today! . I agree, they look wonderful today, as wonderful as they did in 1996. Veronica looks amazing in our next release, Dead But Dreaming.

Gog: Reine Margot: Thank you for your post! It certainly sounds like a lot of great things happening! And that's good to hear. :-) Yes, lots of great things are happening which are keeping us in our toes, they are also the source of a lot of stress for Amy and Jac, who now have a reputation to maintain. I expect they will stay on course, as daring as always.

Gog: Yes indeed! I love that picture. Almost makes me think it's MY birthday to get such a lovely picture of Amy to add to my stalker co....ummmm, I mean....collection. :-) But what's going to be the "Giant size poster" inside? ;-) A giant poster is more difficult to choose, yes? I mean, a wall size picture has to be one with the impact to last a lifetime, if not more. We could start a poll as to which picture should grace the wall of a Gimper. I have some of Jac's favorites through the years.

YikYakker Amy: Do you remember what was happening a year ago as you celebrated your previous birthday? We remember well, in fact, Beto, our most famous inquisitor and creepy butler, remembers that two years ago we were done with the last scene of Le Marquis de la Croix, where Amy gets to be stretched on the rack. After the director, tied to the rack, managed to call out CUT!, the cast of three and crew of four went directly from the set to our HQ to celebrate her birthday. And yes, last year we were wondering about how Maleficarum was going to do at the multiplexes. This year we are preparing to release Dead But Dreaming. It's really nice to mark every year with some big event. We do have a couple of events a year, at least.

YikYakker How momentous this past year has been for you. Here's hoping you have another fantastic one.

We're looking ahead with anticipation. However, our complete attention was and is on the shooting of the missing sequence in Dead But Dreaming, the final editing of this most fantastic movie and its ultimate release.

Dead But Dreaming has become the most anticipated movie of the year... for our fans, of course. The world will learn about it in due time.

Falstaff: Like most others here I am a big fan of Red Feline and am enthusiastic over their new found "main stream" success. However, I recently revisited some of the Via Crucis De Camille productions, Seven Days on the Cross, and Aristo Crux - it is a shame that similar efforts may be abandoned while they focus on the main stream effort - if for no other reason than the number of productions will be sufficiently reduced.

Jac too is very fond of the work he did with Camille, but what he did then it was with the intention of what he's doing now. The beautiful thing is that all that personal work, because it was very personal and intimate, gave birth to what is happening now. His heart, Amy's heart are on the GIMP element in their movies and they are not backing out.

A point. When Jac was releasing the old movies we had the Red Feline Club where he would write the story behind the videos. It is the same now, except that he no longer writes the story behind the movies, the story IS in the movies. Like in Dead But Dreaming, or Maleficarum.

But I have to admit that there's something very special about those past efforts. In fact, I know that Jac misses doing them once in a while. But our number of productions are not really reduced. All the previous work was done between 1996 and 2009, that's a long time That's about 1 1/2 per year. We're producing 2 to 3 features a year now, that's not a small number.

Falstaff: The early work had its faults, the production values, the lighting, etc. were primitive compared to what Red Feline is capable of producing now.

We bought a lot of equipment. Fancy digital cameras, amazing ARRI lights, one provides a 2000 watt capacity, light reflectors, kinos, cranes, etc. That helps. We also have an on hand crew that is gaining more experience with every new movie. However producing those small movies was difficult too. They were the work of only two people, either Jac and Camille, or Jac and Vero, or Jac and Amy... where all the work was in their hands. ALL of it.

We take 6 hours to shoot a complicated scene now, with a full crew. It took six hours to shoot a simple scene without a crew. Jac would spend hours setting up the lights and the camera. Then hours shooting. Exhausting. There's one scene in Red Feline on the Cross where Jac had to climb on a chair, with a big Sony camera on his shoulder to get a high angle shot of the action, while, at the very same time, he was whipping Camille with the other hand. That's exhausting.

The second part to this post will come up soon.

I'll have more exciting news soon. Until then!

Dan Hawke: I don't really understand the business model but I'm guessing it means the profit on each sale is so small that only the big operators can make a go of it. I'm sorry to hear it has come to this -- the range of GIMP material available will only get smaller in the years ahead, by the looks of things. I wish you all the best and I hope we'll continue to hear from you.

Donny: I did try to respond Monday to your question about the preference for older mainstream films -- but my post never made it.

Apart from the points already made, I think the older exploitation guys were less shy about trying to titillate the audience. Not only was there less gore but also more of an effort to try to get viewers aroused. Some examples are obvious (eg., the Ginger films) but I think the point also applies to moments such as the brief scene where Natasha licks Sardu's boot in Bloodsucking Freaks. The old pros knew what they were doing.

Donny, the nudity of the old mainstream Gimp movies was not my thing and the gore (blood and guts) of the new gimp movies isn't my thing either. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the "Don't Go in the House" fiery scene. And I'm sure "A Clockwork Orange's" nude rape scenes would have been enjoyable to me too if I saw it but the modern movie "Maleficarum's" full nudity dungeon torture and fiery peril for better part of an hour of the movie is really my erotic thing.

The problem with old nude gimp movies was they were just short scenes and the rest of the movie was erotically boring to me. You have 2 or 3 minutes or some movie scenes less then 1/2 minute of good erotic scenes and that's it.

The new fiery peril or rape and torture gimp mainstream movies and TV scenes are very short too and most the time no nudity.

Once I saw Amy's Maleficarum dungeon torture scenes and her long spit roast and her bats scene every other gimp movie I've seen in the past is forgettable to me. Bill K.

If there's one thing that Max Coxxx at DirtyDeeds.Com is good at, it's accomplishing a lot with very little to work with. Crux Rose is a perfect example of that.

The video opens with a robe-clad hunchback dragging his bad leg behind him as he steps-slides-steps towards a jail cell at the end of a dark room. He opens the cage door and signals for whomever - or whatever - is inside to come out. So what is the object of his attention? Why, a fetching young black girl dressed in a satin robe!

Now, normally I don't go for black chicks in my porn. Not that I think I'm a racist, but it just isn't my thing. Same with Asians, dwarves, and amputees. Not really my flavor.

Unless, of course, the actress is beautiful.

Max Coxxx is one of the few studio producers making crucifixion films, and in this one, he stays faithful to the genre. Rose is brought out and is escorted to her place of crucifixion, where she willingly (or perhaps she's under the hunchback's mental influence) disrobes to reveal the lacy camisole she's wearing underneath. Or rather, the camisole she's not wearing for long.

One thing I will say about Rose is that she has perfect nipples. She also has great skin and emotes fairly well. More on that in a second.

Rose is then placed on the cross, tied down, and then long spikes are nailed through her palms and through the tops of her feet. Remember when I said Max can do a lot with a little? Well, here he tries - he really tries - to pull off a good special effect that can be tough to do realistically, and if you can willingly suspend your disbelief, you'll get the payoff. Otherwise, just enjoy Rose flexing and twisting on the cross. Like I said, she emotes fairly well - just enough to convey her pain, but not so over-the-top as to be ridiculous. The stills I'm using really don't do her justice.

She's raised up into position, and left to die.

We aren't told why she's being crucified. We aren't told why she seems so compliant. Maybe it's a human sacrifice. Maybe she's seeking a higher level of consciousness. Maybe she's going to pull an Obi-Wan Kenobi and come back stronger than before. Maybe she just likes to spend some alone time naked and in a lot of pain. Who knows? Because you don't know, you're free to build your own backstory. You're given just enough to build a framework, and that's it. Max Coxxx doesn't have time to mess around with such superfluous things as a serious plot.

Overall, if you're a fan of crux films, this might work for you. If you like smooth-skinned young black girls with dynamite bodies, this will definitely work for you. If you like smooth-skinned young black girls tied naked to crosses with nailheads protruding from their appendages, this will be one you keep on the hard drive for a while. It's a low-budget short film that relies a lot on your imagination to make it work, but it will work if you're into this sort of thing. Personally, I would've oiled her up to accentuate her body lines, or added "sweat" to make it look like she was really working. I also would've tied her wrists a bit more securely and had her rise up, then sink down, then rise up, then sink down like the women do when they're really being cruxed. But I'm not a movie producer, so what do I know?

The actress is cute, and the dearth of new crux material makes for a thirsty market for this style of bondage. And it's nice to see Max exercise some imagination by using a hunchback with a limp. Those little touches offset the low budget he had to work with. Still, he's done better. Alexandra's Crux and Thou Shalt Not Be Hot are both better crux movies. Overall score: B-

Girl Interrupted:

Only in the western world could you even dare to assert women rule the world. That's far less than half the world's population. In many Muslim countries the position of women is to be chattel. Hell, if you made this same assertion in many places you might be stoned to death.

In Africa and some other places routine clitoral removal, usually with a sharp stone or some other 'natural' object is something almost all women can expect as a celebration when they reach sexual maturity.

I have often wondered how it would be, being female. Even in this country women generally earn less than male counterparts and for all of us trained by this culture, a woman's sexual attractiveness is still the most important thing about her. Not just to men, but women too relate to other women based on comparison/competition.

So your assertion that women rule the world is pretty far off base, I think.

As to men drooling and pissing themselves when they see a naked woman, that is a biological imperative working itself out. As to this board's focus on 'peril' bondage, rape and torture; well that is a result of too much brain power and too much leisure time. In the old days the alpha male would just take any desirable woman he wanted; and she was happy to be plucked for the status and protection it provided.

Non-alpha males simply had to bonk babes on the head, drag them off to the bushes for a quick bonk. So consider the GIMP board as a modern manifestation of the caveman's proverbial club.

Don't project your cultural biases and personal experiences onto all of humanity. You live a blessed and fortunate life in the western world. I do too. Men also get to live like Kings of yore, lacking only personal attendants/slaves to dress them and shake their dicks after a piss.

The poorest of us truly live like royalty used to. Western women get the added benefit of being largely free from institutional violence and cultural impotence which is the lot of many women around the world.

That said, welcome to the board. Although I suspect you found us by accident and just threw out a bomb to watch the action!

Men don't have the power they think they have! The reason women rule the world is because men think with their dicks. While your busy masturbating watching some hot "bimbo" shaking her ass in your face, she's not thinking "oh how i love man to dominate and use me, shes laughing all the way to the bank you fool. Good for her. Take these movies your girl Amy is making, when she replies to one of you idiots and you begin to pee your pants she isn't in love with you she's thinking of the ching ching you twat, plugin' her wares and right she should.

Men are the most easily manipulated individuals, you can wind them up and have them eating out the palm of your hand at your whim, now that doesn't sound like men are too powerful to me. I experience it all the time, while you will not admit it, at sometime in your life you've been lured in by a woman if not more than once. Men lack the brains to think women don't have any, women just know how to act like their stupid to get what they want, that makes us superior. You need us, you desire us, without us you are just a group of old guys with nothing in life, holding your dick in your hand with nowhere to put it. Thank you for the welcome i do appreciate it.

Thank you very much for a spot on review. I am still working on the nail props to allow the models more freedom of movement. This custom had some specific requirements. The foot placement was top priority. I just added that Crux facade to my old Crux to get said foot placement correct. The customer who ordered it, ordered 2. I reshot the Crux with Rose after looking at the footage in the editor. The little screen on the camera didn't really tell the true story. Well that was the same story for Wenona, so I have her rebooked to reshoot also.

The customers review was "Fantastic work! Thanks!". I just do my best to nail what the customer wants. I did just buy a welder if anyone needs a metal prop in their custom.....

Thanks again for the review!

Nor do I think that people who have the kind of sexually deviant interests that this board is about represent some kind of ancient mindset that modern man is simply repressing...I'm very hesitant to extrapolate my own sexual interests unto all of mankind. Subjects like BDSM and sexual violence are niche interests and there are limited ways that people can explore them in a socially acceptable & ethical manner, this board being one of them. I think it's as simple as that, really.

The two part post you were so anxiously waiting for - Part Deux.

Gog was just going to ask if the new found success and notoriety has brought about any requests to star in other's works or collaborations. when I posted the first part of my two part contribution to the ongoing discussion. This new notoriety is leading to new things, yes, we're getting word of some awards looming in the future, as well as interest in festivals and calls for more interviews in international magazines and blogs.

We're expanding and I think it's a good thing because it gives all of us the opportunity to do more. Amy is the leading lady on this, of course. But the rest are not far behind.

The work now is centered on the release of Dead But Dreaming. I know that Jac is going through a difficult time putting it together because it is a very special film, with a very particular style, a narrative that is very much Jac's way of telling a story.

There's a date of release and that creates a lot of stress, which is also good.

Life is changing as well, in many different ways, professionally and personally. We're evolving.

Ralphus Gog: "Amy Meets the Creature from the Black Lagoon"...Now, I would pay to see a movie like that! (...) Now, Amy Hesketh would likely be game enough and athletic enough to take on a role like that, but now that she's become a serious actress and her company is making prestigious films about writers and vampires that are written up in top magazines, I'm not sure she would go back to her roots and make a complete bondage romp, even though a production like that could have serious cult appeal.

Actually, what is happening now, the attention Amy and Jac are getting is BECAUSE of the bloody boundaries they are breaking. A jungle scenario, with tons of GIMP, it's what they are all about. What brought all the attention in the first place was Maleficarum and what is bringing the attention now is Barbazul.

As I was typing this words, Amy was tagged in a post by none other than the director of a famous Hollywood horror film festival, describing her enthusiasm after discovering Amy in Fangoria. Her words. Amy Hesketh's Bolivian horror film BARBAZUL (BLUEBEARD) got some coverage in Issue 323 of Fangoria Magazine, and I'm super pleased because I was not aware of her amazing filmmaking career.
Her extensive list of horror-and-historically-inspired films reads like a 1970s Spanish horror film collection, or maybe like the accumulated works of a darker, more sadistic Anna Biller. (...) Like Karen Lam, Catherine Breillat, Lisa Hammer, Anna Biller, and Heidi Lee Douglas, Hesketh is taking fairy tales and retelling them as darker, more sensual tales.

What is very, very nice and intriguing is that these gimpy films are written up about in top magazines.

There's not doubt in my mind that when someone sees, as Bill K points out, Amy's Maleficarum dungeon torture scenes and her long spit roast and her bats scene every other gimp movie they've seen in the past is forgettable. I don't think that was Jac's intention when he started shooting the movie, but looking back into everything he did in the past, it was inevitable.

And as Ralphus points out the kind of stuff an independent company like Pachamama Films is producing is actually pretty rare in this day and age. You're sure not going to see Maleficarum 2 made in Hollywood any time soon. These are not the kind of movies that are made with multiplexes in mind, even if they are shown, at least here, in multiplexes, which is kind of unique. We're not about to taper off, on the contrary, Amy and Jac are eager to explore darker, even more twisted, scenarios where GIMP reigns supreme.

There's a Maleficarum kind of movie in the works, one that will certainly try to outdo Maleficarum.

Daniel The early productions were sort of "meat & potato" GIMP! At this point I remain supportive of Amy and her crew! Its just so many times these folks are consumed by the "growth" monster.

I don't think our growth is monstrous. Even if we reach a wider audience, we don't think we'll be so mainstream that we'll forget what made us in the first place. It's nice to have more production values, more equipment, more of everything to create movies with quality and it's even nicer to be able to have all that to make the movies we love to make.

Thomas Chaser Falstaff, thank you for raising an interesting topic.

In the old days of Red Feline, Jac had to work with analogue equipment that had a tremendous limitation when it came down to work with lights. There weren't enough lights and the camera was not sensitive enough. In addition, once Jac set the camera he had to go in front of it and act. Never knowing if what he was shooting was coming out ok. There was one TV set working as a monitor, but as you might know, you can't trust the monitor.

The other point is that Jac was creating some atmospheric scenes. And they work as far as what he was working to achieve. The support material wasn't good enough to capture that.

So, he had to live with the results. It's different now. Very, very different.

Oh well.

Amy and Jac won't try to appeal to the masses. Maleficarum, the big hit, was never conceived as a production for the masses. Neither is Dead But Dreaming, with its lengthy whipping and rape scenes... not to mention all that nudity and blood. As the editor of Fangoria said recently in a Facebook post: Amy Hesketh's BLUEBEARD is fantastic....full of the same meandering longing and sensuality of the best of Jess Franco, with beautiful languid scenery, creepy and earthy Latin flavored music and a great central turn by the Bolivian Al Pacino, Jac Avila, as a romantic psychopath. I am now an Amy Hesketh fan and so should you be. Just a jumping off point...this is very erotic and breezy ...again, think sunny daylit Franco or Jean Rollin....cheerful and depraved...

I think Jac and Amy are very happy to be doing what Jess and Jean Rollin did in their time with tons of eroticism and depravity... and GIMP.

Falstaff: Its great to see the leap they are making into the main stream market, but from a purely selfish perspective I miss the production output of the "old days." Just as an aside, the similarity between all Jac's beautiful leading ladies kind of reminds me of John Derek, with Ursula Andress, Linda Evans and Bo - each seemingly a younger version of their predecessor - and all amazing. It has been, and continues to be a joy to watch the continuing evolution of the Red Feline Family.

I think Jac prefers a comparison to Roger Vadim. The similarities are striking. There's the French leading ladies: Brigitte and Carmen, Catherine Denueve and Vero, and of course the North Americans Jane Fonda and Amy. The Red Feline family continues to evolve, however, so there's always room for more to come.

Dead But Dreaming, a GIMP filled vampire movie, is going to turn people's heads. I'm sure of that. Recently, when Beto contacted the programmer of one of the multiplexes, to let him know that we have a new release coming, he asked. How many lashes of the whip does this new movie have?

While we work on the release of Dead But Dreaming, we're beginning the work on Amy's next disturbing film Olalla. Check the first promo poster.

Jac plays Olalla's uncle Felipe, Amy is Olalla and Mila plays Ophelia, Olalla's sister. One happy family. Felipe and Ophelia have a cozy and kinky relationship while Olalla wants to break free. It is Felipe's role to keep Olalla in line, he doesn't want her to repeat her mother's history. The woman was whipped and burned at the stake for her transgressions. So, Felipe is obligated to punish the niece.

girl interrupted Amy is not thinking of the ching ching you twat, plugin' her wares. We don't think about the money, we do what we do because we love doing it. If we loved something else, we would be doing something else. We could be making movies that do pay very well for less effort, like the National Geographic documentary we made, to mention only one. It's not nice to make assumptions about Amy or anyone else.

We love our fans, we also love the subject matter that our fans do, if money were the issue we would have jobs that pay well and on a regular basis, not to mention health insurance and a 401 K. Amy is very good at many things, specially math, she could very well be an engineer, but she loves the art of making movies, and she loves the type of movies she makes.

Amy and everybody else in our team had to make sacrifices to do what we do. We're not about to give it up for fame or some sense of security, or anything else. The fact is that we, and specially Jac and Amy, took risks to do what they do. It's very easy to attack or dismiss their hard work, to label it and them.

If our films were not sexy and a turn on, they would not be good.

I'll have more exciting news soon. Until then!

Thomas Chaser: Nice work on the review of Crux Rose. The review was fun to read and the caps are excellent.

Rose is attractive but the bizarre nature of the story -- and the fact we don't understand why she's so compliant about being crucified -- would be a problem for me. I doubt I would get into this film.

Margot, another great post - actually 2 posts. One question, now that you all are becoming much more widely known, how safe are you all in Bolivia, are there any security precautions that you are now having to take. South America as a whole does not seem to be the safest environment for a group with rapidly rising international acclaim.

Guess what?...Yeah, I'm still here.

Does anyone know of any film that was so well made it satisfied the criteria for "Suspension of disbelief"...that showed a gorgeous slut being tortured by having a cold curling iron slid into her pussy...(then turned on) watch her struggle and scream as it gets REALLY FUCKING HOT?

That CAN be done you know...just hang her upside down with her legs spread...(preferably sheathed in stockings and accentuated by spike heels/with her toes pointed)...then squirt her cunt full of K-Y Jelly thinned 50:50.

Shove the cold curling iron down into her and turn it on..(yes, for real!)...and then sit back and watch her struggle and scream as she goes damn near insane as the thing get hotter and hotter.

All you have to do is pull it out before it "cooks-away" all of her natural "lube" and the K-Y.

What? Of course I've done it...(mostly to "Karen Aurther" and "Kelly Long" as well as non-models back "when"...(privately or for an audience of trusted friends but certainly NOT on film)...and I still do this to Danielle.

Like most "conspicuously" gorgeous and "over the top" erotic looking young women who are so vain and such cock-teasing sluts they've had their breasts "augmented" to E or EE size...Danielle goes into orgasm when the curling iron get hot enough to "HISSSSSS" when it's pulled out.

There IS a way to fake all this on camera where NOBODY can tell the difference...(which I would be happy to reveal to a film maker with enough sense to pay attention to me because most of what is being "cranked-out" looks the same and borders on being just plain BORING! What the hell has happened to imagination and creativity anyway?)

This is just about the most sexually arousing thing any horny man who likes to see gorgeous girls suffering...can see!

So...if anyone HAS made such a film, please post same.

Ya-all be well and watch your backs!

My, this place has been hopping lately. A new review, appearances by Reine Margot, Dan Hawke, John Blakemore and even a new female troll just to get the board talking.

Girl Interrupted: Welcome to the board. I keep getting visions of Angelina Jolie in the movie from which you take your moniker, but at any rate, you sure know how to make a big splash on a male-dominated board. You make a few valid points, such as women allowing themselves to be exploited for financial gain, and in that one way, it is a woman's world.

But you really need to read Dan Hawke's excellent rebuttal where he said a woman's sexual attractiveness is still the most important thing about her. A beautiful woman will go a long way and make lots of money in this world, but that's only because men like to see pretty women doing practically anything and we'll pay for it. So if you feel men eat of out the palm of your hand, keep in mind it is likely because you were lucky enough to have been born attractive. That's really the only "skill" you need to be successful, so thank your lucky stars we allow you to live here and profit from us.

Thomas Chaser: Terrific review; you've become quite the prolific and accomplished reviewer around here. That said, the idea of a woman willingly allowing herself to be crucified strikes a wrong tone with me. Give Max credit for being one of the few producers to attempt crux fantasies, though.

The direct review for your latest is in my Homepage URL above.

Donny asked:

Does anyone else like the older GIMP scenes because they were slightly less focused on the actual gore itself?

I don't know if it's necessarily true that some of us prefer older GIMP scenes; I think we just prefer better scenes, and a lot of the older films did it better than a lot of modern movies. Don't Go in the House is a classic scene on many accounts, mainly because it allowed us to gaze at the beautiful naked female form in bondage struggling in panic before being horribly burned to death. If they were to remake it today (perish the thought) they would likely nix the nudity completely and film the scene with herky-jerky camerawork and rapid fire MTV editing. For the most part, today's GIMP scenes play up the blood and gore and go light (or not at all) on the nudity and bondage, which is a sad and disturbing trend. Women exist to be exploited; today's filmmakers need to get back to their roots.

To whatever degree you were a masochist in your youth, (and maybe still are!), you show yourself to be a most ingenious sadist as well.

To submit a post, with blanks where we are expecting pictures, is cruel indeed.

But, when there is every reason to expect there would be at least some images of the delectable Ms. Hesketh, the absence is painfully frustrating.

And when experience teaches us that some of these images would have been of Ms. Hesketh naked, and perhaps abused, the pain is exquisite, unbearable.

As interesting as your text was, and as limpid as your prose style is, these are totally inadequate consolations.

I hope that these lacunae can soon be rectified.

I fear for my heart otherwise.

Wow! I had to come out of lurking for this one. When I saw the first post by girl interrupted, I couldn't wait for the fun to begin and you guys haven't disappointed.

Men are controlled by their cocks, that's their nature, but other than that girl interrupted, you're completely naive. You are fortunate enough to live in a society that allows you to exploit that, as Dan Hawke competently pointed out. (As to men drooling and pissing themselves when they see a naked woman, that is a biological imperative working itself out.).

A woman's nature or "biological imperative" is nesting, thus security and financial independence fuel our drive. But men understand that as well as you understand their sex drive, thus they use their financial power to exploit us. Who has the power then? Well, who's exploiting who? As Ralphus adeptly pointed out : (women allowing themselves to be exploited for financial gain, and in that one way, it is a woman's world.). Yes, that's true, if you're willing to prostitute yourself for financial gain.

There's no difference between working the street and letting the guy pay for your dinner on a date. You know why he's paying and you accept it. It's just small scale prostitution. That's a power exchange that truly liberated women with their own sense of worth and power are unwilling to make.

I was in Alaska and witnessed a male grizzly bear maul his own cub to death so that the female grizzly would go back into heat. That's the nature of male and female at its core. Who has the power there? It's the same as the cave man with the club. Society will protect you only to an extent, just ask those three women from Cleveland.

So study your psychology, but you'd better also add history, sociology and biology.

YikYakker: Good points about how newer movies seem to have replaced nudity with gore, and I also miss some of the older GIMP scenes.

A Canadian: I agree that the "old pros" knew what they were doing in the past, and that they really seemed to try and make their scenes arousing at the same time.

Bill K.: Interesting points about not really preferring either, but instead preferring an entire movie that was really devoted to GIMPers, which is also a good choice.

Ralphus: Good points about people not really caring when a GIMP scene was filmed, but rather how it was filmed, and I agree.

I still think it is unfortunate that there has been such a shift away from including nudity in film with so many newer movies, and I always find it so unbelievable when a killer strips their victim down to their underwear, or removes their top but allows them to keep the rest of their clothing on. Like in the movie Blood Relic, a woman is hung topless, but she was allowed to keep her pants on?

At least in the past, if a victim had their top removed, then they also wouldn't be allowed to keep on the rest of their clothing, either, like in this similar scene from Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS:

Sadly it doesn't look like any studio would be brave enough to film a GIMP scene like this again.

Actually, what happened to Singer isn't censorship.

Censorship is when the state tries to prevent someone from expressing an opinion. In this case, the government hasn't done anything to prevent Singer from expressing his views. He ain't being censored.

It's always important to put freedom of speech and freedom from censorship into proper context.

Freedom of speech means you should have the right to express whatever view you wish without fearing the state will censor you just because some official doesn't like your views (however controversial, vile, whatever).

But having the right to express a view doesn't mean others are obligated to listen to you.

Nor does it mean the moderator of a privately run forum is obligated to accept the posting of your views.

Disagree with Ralphus' decision if you like (I have no idea what Singer posted, so I have no opinion one way or the other). But let's not confuse the moderating of a forum with censorship.

Absolutely agree with A Canadian. This is a moderated forum. If it were not, anyone could come in and post drivel with reckless abandon. The forum would then become unmanageable, we would all go away... and that would be it.

That puts a fair amount of responsibility on the moderator to be able to reasonably decide which postings are not in the best interest of the site and its clients. Ralphus' excellent moderating is one reason that this site is as excellent as it is. I defer to Ralphus on his call on this.

Sir Galahad: Regarding the "censorship" of Singer's posts, consider this is a guy who's never contributed anything to the board before he posted what was clearly an attack on Nia Thursday afternoon, accusing her of secretly being a man after she posted agreeing with us. I had been working late that night and his post had already been up on the board for over 8 hours at the time, so I reluctantly decided not to delete it; instead I replied to him directly in a joking fashion. Nia laughed off his comments and the whole matter should have been over.

But this morning he was back at it with more accusing accusations against Nia, then he went after another poster and finished up by openly questioning my integrity as well. It was clear at this point that his whole intention was not to contribute in a positive way, but to call names and attack others and see if he could get a reaction out of the board. After running this forum close to a dozen years, I recognize troll behavior and all the signs were quite obvious. So I deleted his post and, like an obsessed Glen Close in Fatal Attraction, he decided he won't be ignored so he constantly tried to post over and over again, changing his IP address each time to override my block.

I seldom ever have to delete posts here. For the most part, this is one of the most cordial groups of pervs on the net. Even when we disagree, we still do it like mature adults and respect other's opinions. In my mind, everyone is worthy of respect unless they prove otherwise. In the case of Singer, he had his chance and showed his true colors, and that's why he's no longer welcome here.

Well it so happens that she stars in a new Psycho-Thrillers video I just got.

Photo review of Psycho-Thrillers The Pleasure is Ours. This is a second in a series of stalking/home invasion/rape murder videos.

The video starts in a similar fashion as the first (The Torture, Rape, Strangulation of Melody) with a video stalking of the victim. Except this one is kind of fast forwarded and not as drawn out and detailed as the first one. I guess they just wanted to get to the good stuff faster. :-)

Then comes the home invasion.

After getting the victim under control by restraining her hands behind her, comes the forced oral segment.

Forced to the ground for some DP time. [Does vaginal and oral constitute DP? Or would that be vaginal/anal? No get the idea].

Change of position....and it's off to the bedroom for some more fun with foreign objects as well as attached ones.

The rape continues until the intruders take a break and leave her on her own for a spell to ponder her fate.

They now return and uncuff her for a final bit of oral.

After blowing a wad all over her face, the blowee's partner then wraps a cord around her throat as she struggles with cum soaked face.

Overall not a bad video with a fairly long run time of just over 40 minutes. Casey Calvert isn't the most convincing actress however, dialog wise. But overall not too bad, especially when she can't speak due to cock in her mouth. Lol I mean her acting isn't horrible or anything......just not very good. With that said, I think most can forgive her a bit just on the looks department alone. :-)

The other part that could have been improved IMO is the final BJ scene. I understand that she was being portrayed as having been so beat down that she just complied at the end. But it still would have looked a lot better IMHO if she would have had her hands restrained behind her during that scene.

I did especially like the fact that her fate was sealed with the insult of having to struggle with a cum-soaked face at the end. Nice touch. :-)

OK, now to post what I came to post.

I've been spending WAY too much money, a few bucks at a time, on amateur Kindle porn lately.

Most of it's been pretty solidly wasted. Stories that sound promising, but turn out to be crap. Poorly edited crap, to boot.

However, I have run across a new favorite, that I thought I'd share in case anyone was interested.

The story is called I, Bridgette. The premise is, a young woman is kidnapped, and a chip is implanted into her spine. (Not surgically, just... pushed in, through her skin.)

The chip controls her body, but not her mind. She spends the entire book struggling mentally as the chip forces her to obey her new owner's commands.

There is rape, there is torture, there are two very unique forms of bondage... The story is not very long, it's not exactly realistic, and yes, there are a handful of careless typos (doesn't anyone proofread anymore?) -- but it pushes all of my buttons. The woman's helplessness and misery are positively DELICIOUS. I am aching to write a sequel. :)

Highly recommended, and only one dollar.

The quality of the debate over the removal of Singer's posts perfectly illustrates for me what raises the quality of this forum above others. I read Galahad's view and found it strong. Then I read the responses of Canadian and Ralphus and found them equally strong. Which forced me to think. And isn't that the desired result of any debate?

I agree with Galahad on a theoretical level. It would be ideal if no posts were ever removed and we all had the opportunity to read and evaluate for ourselves whatever anyone cared to say. Galahad is also right to note that, as adults, we do not need to be sheltered, but can make our own decisions.

However, this would then become an unmoderated forum, and, once flaming starts in a forum, it generally snowballs (there's an oxymoron), and the quality of the forum is destroyed as its members tire of wading through all of the flames (and advertising posts) that would quickly follow. So, from a practical viewpoint, Ralphus has no choice but to determine for all of us when to remove a post. Not just because it is his forum (although that is sufficient reason by itself), but because it is necessary for the survival of the forum that someone make those decisions, and, fortunately, he does so very discriminately.

Canadian is correct that this is not censorship. A newspaper does not engage in censorship when it determines not to publish a reader's letter to the editor because it believes that its readers will not enjoy it or that it might turn some readers away from the newspaper. It is thinking about the overall quality and survival of the newspaper. If the reader is unhappy with the newspaper's decision not to publish his letter, then he is free to start his own newspaper and publish anything and everything that he wishes. While the First Amendment prevents the government from interfering with a person's free speech right to stand on a soapbox in the public square, it also protects my freedom of association right not to listen to him.

So, while I, like others, am curious to know what Singer posted that led Ralphus to remove his posts, I accept that Ralphus has no choice but to "moderate" his forum, and that I will have to trust his judgment in this regard in order to maintain the quality of the site, and my enjoyment of it.

Gog: Nice review of the Psycho Thrillers film. This is the kind of film I like to watch: a home invasion of a pretty victim, rape her, tie her up, rape her again and then snuff her. Just based on the stills and your description, I agree, she should have been tied up for the final forced oral scene. Once you've got her tied, I don't really see any reason to untie her. Still, looks like a worthwhile movie to seek out.

The direct link to your latest review is in my Homepage URL above.

Does anyone know, is Psycho Thrillers connected in any way to PKF? This looks like the type of film I've seen from them in the past.

SharedJoy: "I Bridgette" looks like a great read. What sold it even better than your glowing review is negative review on Amazon's comment page. Check this out:

This book is sick and when I say sick I mean it. Don't get me wrong I like erotic novels even the submissive ones, but this made me hate myself for reading it. This is someone's hellish nightmare of a good time and I can't say it enough DONT GET THIS BOOK!!

Whenever I read comments where your average person (read: not a GIMPer) is repulsed by something and says it's sick, that's usually a sign that the creator of the work has done something right! I don't have a Kindle; can Kindle books be viewed on just a normal PC?

I have ordered custom videos from both Psycho-Thrillers (PT) and PKF, and can attest with some certainty that the two companies are not connected. One clue is that there is almost no overlap among the actresses the producers employ. The only model I recall featured by both is Paris Kennedy, and she's worked for just about everyone. John Marshall runs PKF out of the North-West US and I believe PT is based in California. Both companies cater to the death-fetish crowd, but over 95% of PT's output is asphyx while PKF caters to a much wider variety of tastes. In fact, PKF has a number of subsidiary outlets which release clips featuring medical, time-stop, superheroine and other more arcane GIMPery.

What both companies do have in common is that they are quite prolific while still producing technically proficient, top quality material.

I had to make a stop at the local Home Depot today. It was really hard to to keep from smiling when I walked past a duct tape display right in the middle of one of the isles (In reference to Ralphus' Home Depot duct tape sale advertisement of a few days ago for those who missed it).

Thanks A Canadian. If you do end up getting a copy give us your thoughts. Plus also, like I mentioned, this is a second in a series, with the other title (mentioned in the review) being extremely similar in storyline, except longer in length and detail of stalking. That one stars Melody Jordan.

Ralphus' inquiry about Psycho-Thrillers & PKF: As Fritz mentioned, they don't have anything to do with each other as far as I know. PT is Southern Cal and PKF is Pacific Northwest.

Both are similar, but think the main differences are that PT shoots entirely "on location" vs. PKF which shoots most "in studio" (but have also done some "on location").

The other difference is that PKF has a more "shot to video" look as opposed to PT which has a more 16mm (I think that's what I'm looking for) look.

And there are a few more actresses recently that have starred at both, like Melody Jordan and Rilynn Rae to name a couple.

Ok lets recap here. 1. I made an observation that Nia sounded like a man and expressed it jokingly through the words of a song. 2. Nia returned and revealed that she use to be a man, so that made my obsarvation not to far off the charts. 3 In her return statement Nia insulted me by calling me a knuckle beater or something in that line to get revenge. 3. Ralphus decided that my so called offensive post was ok and decide not to remove it. Now here is where the bs starts. 4. My second post worried the admin because i placed him in a corner that he couldn't talk his way out of. I simply told one user to be carefully of the images he uploaded as they were watermarked and as we all no by now that the admin does not agree with with watermarking material that belongs to the movie studio. That previous statement was the one the admin descibed as insulting another user. 5. I next asked the admin why he considered it okay to posts clips all over the web and what was the difference between him and the up-loader of Maleficum, when he confidently said the clips were uploaded without permission. 6. So as you can planely see mr admin doesn't like my qwestions and the real truth is he uses the excuce of trolling to protect himself. 7. Am i a troll? no. I just can't stand Hypocrasy.

YikYakker and everyone else: Just ignore this loser. I finally let him through to the site after he tried for the 8th time (I'm not exaggerating) to make sure everyone knows how right he is. Apparently he feels that since I link to mainstream video clips in the various databases that I had no right to say the Maleficarum clips should have been removed. I've always stuck up for independent bondage filmmakers because their profit margin is tiny and bootlegging puts them out of business. For an example check out Dan Hawke's post just last week.

Mainstream material is different in that it is available for free all over the web and it's readily accessible virtually everywhere, especially on the world's largest video site, YouTube. Hell, they even allow full-length R-rated movies anymore. Nearly every clip in the databases is already available in various forms in probably dozens if not hundreds of places on the net.

And yet because I take a stance not to steal from small companies like Pachamama Films (the same group that comprised bondage filmmakers Red Feline), that makes me a hypocrite? Whatever, dude. You're entitled to your opinion.

BTW, you can believe it or not, but the main reason you were blocked from the site was not because you went after me, it was because you continued to attack Nia with your ridiculous accusations. And she didn't used to be a man; you're apparently too stupid to see that she was joking.

Now please leave and don't come back.

Actually, if we move beyond personal insults, the discussion about what standards should be in place when it comes to tolerating piracy continues to be an interesting one.

We've had the discussion before but it remains tricky. Many of us support piracy to some extent, as much of the Japanese porn that comes our way is pirated. I have an account on the DMM website so some of the Japanese porn I watch is legitimately obtained -- but most of what I have seen over the years wasn't legit.

Clearly, Ralphus draws the line when it comes to piracy that rips off bondage producers outside of Japan. Others may draw the line differently.

It may be controversial, but I suspect few people these days have an absolute zero-tolerance policy when it comes to pirated stuff.

I'll admit that I'm not one of the few. I have no qualms about downloading stuff that is not otherwise available, or is otherwise available only on VHS or some butchered version that leaves all the goodies out. I won't try to rationalize or justify this behavior; it's just my policy and I try to stick to it consistently.

When I was a kid, I used to question my elders by saying "But didn't you say it was wrong to....?" and they would sometimes answer by saying, "Well, it depends...". I used to hate that.

Now, whenever someone asks me a question, I often find myself saying, "Well, it depends."

Gog: Thanks for the image-laden review of The Pleasure is Ours.

We were talking about the trend toward less nudity in mainstream movies a few days ago, and it's good to have a reminder that there is still a lot of nekkidness available from other sources.

Also, the pic you posted on Friday gave me a new appreciation for duct tape bondage.

Canadian, when it comes to piracy I couldn't agree more. The reality is there is almost no legal source in the US to get JP/AV material. Almost all the sources are downloading and then selling the disc. I'm sure these guys aren't paying royalties. And a few of the AV companies don't even want to sell to MAC users (one will not download to any browser but the latest IE (not supported by MAC). So in one case I've emailed them offering to buy their product legally and basically been told they're not interested.

And secondly, while I am more than willing to download and pay for it, I want downloads that are convertible to MP4 so I can burn a DVD. I don't watch on a computer, I watch on an old TV with an old DVD machine. And have no income to upgrade. One of the worse debacles of the last twenty years has been the multiplication of digital video formats. It is absurd that I have to convert videos to make them compatible with my operating system. And I have some that simply will not convert so I'm stuck with watching them on a 13" computer monitor screen. And they want me to pay big bucks for that?

Second for the American companies, while I have no interest in pirating your product that is legally available for download, if you're going to force me to buy a subscription or download un-burnable one-time use files I'm not interested. I want to pay a reasonable price for the content I want to pay for. Not a huge price for content I have no interest in selecting or can't watch on a DVD player. There are a couple of Sasha Grey vids out there I would gladly pay decent money for. But I'm not interesting in JOINING anything to get them. Because most of the other product from the same source is of no interest to me.

For the life of me I don't get why people would come up with a business model that basically says I have content you want, but I don't want to sell it to you.

My Dear Ralphus.

May I congratulate you on your magnanimity in welcoming (perhaps not the word that you would choose!) Singer back into the fold!

Has it not been said that it is better to have an adversary in one's tent pissing out than on the outside pissing in?

Your, and Eda's, responses were eminently reasonable. But for me reason must yield to values. And, for me, the basic issue is that the best person to decide what I read, hear and see is myself.

As always, my warmest thanks for your efforts and may you long continue in your endeavours, despite the tribulations!

It is interesting that the two issues currently to the fore, censorship and copyright, are linked.

The most passionate advocates of the internet see both as a mechanism of repression by governments, institutions, international corporations, etc., to be used for their political, social and economic ends.

The internet empowers the people.

A word to Singer; why are you so confrontational? Many issues have been argued here with courtesy and restraint.

Have fun, folks.

As they used to say on Monty Python: And now for something completely different...

Machete Maidens Unleashed! (2010)

IMDb Info
Running time: 84 minutes

Great title for a movie, isn't it? But this is not just any movie. This is a documentary about movies made nearly half a century ago...nearly half a world away from a startling collaboration between native and foreign film-makers that came to be known as...the Filipino Exploitation Explosion!

It all began back in the 1960's when American (as well as British and Australian) film-makers became aware that the Philippines movie industry was busy, productive and inexpensive. The American producers reasoned: Why not hire Filipino crews to make the movies for us, while we make a bundle marketing them to American audiences? [The Australian perspective is covered in the movie Not Quite Hollywood].

The key players are here - Roger Corman, Joe Dante, Jack Hill, Jonathan Demme, Eddie Romero and John Landis - to tell the story, as scenes from their movies whiz by on the screen. There's no skimping on the GIMPing - images of torture, humiliation and rape of women appear along with explosions, gunfire and monsters. This is all in keeping with the three Bs of the B-movies produced - Beasts, Bullets and Breasts - and the film focuses on three main genres: Horror, WIP (women in prison) and Action/Adventure.

Horror. A segment of the film tells the story of the Blood Island trilogy, a series of movies made in the late 1960's by Corman, Eddie Romero and beach movie veteran actor John Ashley. Each of the three were made in the same location in the Philippines, nearly back-to-back and with overlapping cast members, playing different characters in each one. Along with fetching Filipinas in skimpy island garb, each movie cast a different American blond actress as the lead GIMP. In the near future, I plan to review the entire trilogy of movies.

Below is a montage of GIMP scenes. (Please note: the images in this review are all capped from Machete Maidens Unleashed!; so if you see the film, you will see these scenes.)

GIMPs of the Blood Island Trilogy

Brides of Blood - Unknown native maiden [l] sacrificed to appease the island's lusty mutant-beast; Beverly Powers [r] meets the monster.

Angelique Pettyjohn [l] in Mad Doctor of Blood Island; Celeste Yarnall [r] in Beast of Blood

Celeste Yarnall is rescued from quicksand, but her saviors demand a reward.

WIP. Then the movie guys got this idea: what if we put the babes in prison and have them shoot their way out? And what if while they're in prison, we have them get tortured/raped/naked? (I'm paraphrasing here). Sounded like a plan, and so emerged such gems as The Big Doll House, Women in Cages, Black Mama, White Mama, and The Big Bird Cage, all made in the Philippines during the early 1970s.

GIMPs of Jungle Prison Movies

Lovely Roberta Collins riding the Wheel of Torture [l]; getting her tits electrocuted [r].

Christine Tam [l] shocked in an unusual pose; Judi Brown [r] menaced by a snake.

Pat Woodall [l] feels the lash; Anitra Ford [r] is left hanging.

Action/Adventure. Keeping up with movie trends seen elsewhere, Corman et. al. also generated movies that provided plenty of bullets and breasts outside of the conventional WIP formula. The collaboration benefitted from the very good relationship between the movie industry and the military of the Philippines, which supplied guns, ammunition, vehicles, ordnance, experts and extras to fuel the shoot-em-ups and explosions needed to drive the plots. Another advantage was that Filipino stunt actors were willing to risk their fool necks for $5 a day; but Corman points out that American advice about how to institute safety measures helped cut down the typical fatality rate for these movies.

Sexual slavery (The Hot Box), revolutionaries (Savage Sisters), militant cults (Escape from Blood Plantation) and martial arts conflicts (Firecracker) were just a few of the themes that provided good GIMP scenarios. And when Spielberg introduced Jaws, Corman countered with Up from the Depths.

GIMPs of Action/Adventure Movies

Cheri Cafaro gets drilled in Savage Sisters [l]; topless "skin diver" faces sea monster in Up from the Depths [r].

Enslaved natives in Escape from Blood Plantation; sweet Roberta Collins stripped again.

Cutting bottom as a prelude to rape [l]; unknown loses her shirt in Firecracker[r].

A lot of the actresses from these flicks are on hand to comment about the hardships of life on a jungle set in particular, as well as specific scenes. Celeste Yarnall (Beast of Blood), Gloria Hendry (Savage Sisters), Laurie Rose (The Hot Box), Jeannie Bell (TNT Jackson), Margret Markov (Black Mama, White Mama) and Pam Grier (too many to mention) are just some of the babes who are interviewed. It's fair to note that time has not been kind to these ladies, although Celeste Yarnall's classic beauty still shows through. Pam Grier was singled out for mention by the talking heads, who noted that she had little or no prior acting experience before jumping into the WIP flicks with great energy and determination.

It's a bit discomfiting to watch Corman (and others) chuckle about cutting corners to save money, or showing the same footage of an exploding helicopter in trailers for different movies, even those that didn't include the scene itself. One's first impression is that he is laughing all the way to the bank, at our expense. But it's clear that without the cost-cutting, these movies would never have been made, or certainly would never have been shown to American audiences.

But by the late 1970s, the fun was jeopardized by the emergence of big-budget, American-made blockbusters like Jaws (1975), Star Wars (1977) and Alien (1979). Audience expectations about production values, special effects, etc. set a higher bar. To compete, Corman, Demme and the rest began to shift their production activities back to the US. In addition, multiplex cinemas began to replace the drive-ins and grindhouses that provided the market for cheap products from the Philippines. (Cue the footage of a drive-in being bulldozed.) The movie closes with the saga of one last-ditch effort to make a big-budget movie in the Philippines: Francis Ford Coppola's ill-fated festival of cost over-runs, Apocalypse Now.

Overall, however, this movie is highly entertaining. As promised, there are tons of bullets, breasts and beasts. The scenes fly by very quickly, but nearly all are clearly identified with their respective movie titles. Everyone displays good humor about their movies, and no one tries to make them out to be more than what they are: cheap thrills, the like of which we rarely see in mainstream movies these days.

Whether you view it for nostalgia's sake, or to learn about some new GIMP scenes you've never seen before, this movie plays like a feature-length highlight reel of an era we'll never see again. My Grade: B

Second, thank you YikYakker for the review! I found it on Amazon.Com for about $20 for the DVD. Not sure I'd be willing to pay that much for it though, at least not without a B-side with gratuitous nudity and torture.

Third, I've become an addict of "Game of Thrones". If you're into medieval violence and gratuitous sex, you should check it out. Don't expect to be able to pick up the storyline without watching the first season, in order. There are just too many moving parts to just jump in without background.

Psychology class is pretty much the last refuge for damaged angry women who mistake their ability to recognize screw ups with the ability to help them. You recognize it because you've lived it! That doesn't make you a doctor. Doctors (or psychiatrists) are people who have their shit together and can look objectively from outside.

Psychologists are crazy middle aged chicks who have had a string of bad boyfriends that used and abused them and then emptied out their bank account. They're usually chicks who obsess about guys they barely know and have cats with people names and go to bars and brag about how they want to help children while they're dumping cosmopolitans down their throat and end up getting so drunk they start crying about their abusive home life.

The only thing more ridiculous then 30 year old women in psychology classes are 30 year old women who BRAG about being in psychology classes. It carries about as much prestige as a lower back tattoo.

I'm sure nobody on this forum is the pinnacle of sound mental health but that most certainly includes female psychology students coming here to vent their frustration that the clock is ticking and all they have to show for the last decade of their life is 3 cats, an unpaid student loan and a restraining order from the coffee shop guy you thought you were dating every morning for the last 6 months until you found out he's married and that's how he treats all the customers!

Markee. I am most interested to know your secret.

You seem to be able; or, at least, to think that you are able; to discern a person's motivation on the basis of the most minimal information: such as that which is part of a post to this site, hardly equivalent to a confessional!

I am in my late 60s and find it progressively more difficult to discern the texture of a person's thoughts.

Am I already in the throws of dementia or do I recognise that an individual's motivation in speaking, writing, asserting is far more complex than that which can be summarised (travestied?) in a few glib sentences?

Do let me, (and those others on this site), know how you manage such insightful understanding of their motivation.

Are you of an antiquity, (with all the wisdom flowing therefrom), that makes me a youngster, (those happy days!),

Or are you of a discernment that strides above these matters?

I really dig documentaries about movies and the whole movie-making process; I guess it goes back to my college days taking all those film courses and making my own movies. I have an interest in the subject to begin with, and if you combine that with all the GIMP material in those films, that makes it even more irresistible. Of course, those movies were made largely in the 1970s, the very peak of the strip 'em and whip 'em genre that is sadly a thing of the past today.

Another good documentary to check out is American Grindhouse; Fritz turned me on that film and it's another one I highly recommend. I'm pretty sure Netflix carries it.

So. sandalwood's posting of the link to a website featuring a movie titled "Pray for Dawn" gives me an opportunity to ask a question I have wanted to ask regarding downloads such as this. I realize that I may be the only person on this forum who doesn't understand this but.... what the heck.

Here is a movie with a promising pretext and promising box cover (though we know how reliable THAT is.) There is sketchy information on IMDB and the movies does not seem to be commercially available but at least I guess we know that there is at least an actual movie behind the link. But the link is to a website that scares me. When I clicked on the "About" at the top of the website, it takes me to an ad for cleaning up my Mac and then to some messages from my Mac that really freaked me out. When I saw that, it took me about a nanosecond to exit the website as fast as I could.

So. Can anyone help me out with this? Are these downloads of pirated material? Are the websites legit? Can they mess up my computer? This may be obvious to some of you..... but I'm old. A tutorial would be nice.

BTW, the title is taken from another Corman flick, Hollywood Boulevard (1976) which is a spoof of the very movies that Corman and his colleagues were making at the time. It's a story about the fictional company, Miracle Pictures (If we make a good's a Miracle!) involving a crew going to the Philippines to make a low-budget flick. The name of the fictional flick is Machete Maidens of Mora Tau.

Here's a crazy idea that I'm sure ya'll'd enjoy:

A TV Show. "Women's Prison Survival".

A group of 20 women compete for the million dollar prize. The action basically takes place in a cell block with 5 cells on each side and a central hallway with a torture chamber with a glass wall, so whatever is happening there, can be seen by everyone, at the end.

The show starts with the women being strip-searched and sent to the cells (naked) in pairs. At the time of the search they are each also assigned a "female number" by which they will be called for the duration of the ordeal. Once in the cells, the prison rules are read to them, these are very long, detailed and arbitrary. Among them are rules on how to eat - "beans must be eaten with the spoon in the left hand; peas must be eaten with the spoon in the right hand...", at any time calling a prisoner by her name instead of her female number, is a violation, etc. (the women also cannot write them down, as they have nothing to write with).

The rules also include daily tasks for the prisoners - such as scrubbing their cells with toothbrushes prior to the daily cleanliness inspection; counting from 0 to 10,000 without stopping, in a clear, steady voice; doing 50 deep knee bends or 50 sit-ups or 20 push-ups or 100 jumping jacks; standing at attention in front of the viewing wall of the torture chamber and correctly counting the number of lashes the female in the chamber receives over a certain period of time; etc. - at any time, on order from the guards. The slightest violation of the rules is punished by "restraint", which consists of the offender being taken out of her cell and chained in the central hallway. Depending on the severity of the infraction, at the whim of the guard who observed the infraction, she may be chained from 2-4 hours in a more or less stressful pose. These can range from simply having to stand flat footed, arms shackled overhead "on display", to being put in a strappado on her toes.

Females in restraint can be freely fondled by either guards, or fellow female prisoners either by permission, or by order of, guards. In between tasks the women are free to converse. At the end of each day, the women are ordered to vote which one of them will be "processed". The one who is chosen it taken to the torture chamber, where she suffers various "interesting" tortures for the next 24 hours. The torture chamber is semi-sound-proof, so, if the female being tortured yells loudly, her screams will be heard by everyone in the cell-block. At the end of the 24 hours she is taken off the show (there would have to be an off-screen recuperation facility for after-care).

This goes on in the now familiar fashion until only two are left.

The winner is decided by an endurance test in the torture chamber. Each of the two remaining women is now tortured using identical methods. The first one to beg for mercy, loses. The tough one walks out with the million.

What do you think?

(What is actually not very funny is - I don't think you'd get too many contestants from places like the USA, but for a "cool US one mil.- and throw in a Green Card" there would be no shortage of real female volunteers from a lot of places in this world. But of course, in all seriousness, even if the volunteer contestants would be available, it still could not be done.)

Lynn: That was smoking hot. Since we're not likely to see it on TV or film anytime soon, I hope you (or someone) develops it into a full story. I would damn sure love to read it.

YikYakker: Thanks for the great review of Machete Maidens Unleashed. I was lucky enough to catch this film in a theater during a local doc festival, and I immediately snapped up the DVD when it was released. I can't remember what I paid - probably more than $20 with shipping and taxes - but it was worth every penny. I would never have thought to review it here, but it makes perfect sense to do so - it's hard to think of a film that has more GIMP scenes for your dollar. And for those of us old enough to remember watching these flicks in their heyday, it's a nostalgia trip to boot. Well done.

And as Ralphus mentioned, American Grindhouse is another first-rate documentary for peril fans. And if you've got time for a triple-feature, check out Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel. It's not quite as GIMP-heavy as the other two, but there's still loads of info about exploitation classics, and especially about Roger Corman himself. The array of legendary directors, actors and other talent who started their careers with him is staggering (check out the full cast list on IMDB). Jack Nicholson is actually moved to tears while confessing how much he owes the man. It's amazing that all three of these documentaries, which both overlap and complement each other, came out at almost the same time.

kingdiocletian: Thank-you for posting Miss Berkeley's Voyage. It took a while, but I finally got through this tale of what has to be the most epic flogging in the annals of erotic fiction. The quality of your writing is impeccable. I commend you for carefully setting up the action before jumping into the main event and I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed, stroke-by-stroke description of the (almost) endless punishment. I had not expected the story to play out as it did, but by the time I made it across the finish line, I was too exhausted to quibble. As much as I'm tempted to say the heroine's ordeal is too much of a good thing, I cannot do so in good conscience because my own writing is hardly known for its brevity. In fact, I just finished a story which I suspect is longer than yours. Coincidentally, it too features a whipping - albeit, a somewhat less lavish one.

Thomas Chaser: Thanks for the pointer to what might be a better quality release of Poor Cecily. I have three copies of the film, one on VHS tape and two DVD bootlegs. If I'm feeling generous, the best of the lot is a C- transfer, so I'm curious if this Xtreme Theater version truly is a B+ as the listing claims. As it's only $10, I purchased a copy, along with a few other titles of interest. Since Poor Cecily seems to be a favorite around here, I'll post when I've had a chance to view it.
